found a huge nail in my summer tires while putting them on.. in the tread but really close to the sidewall.. shop fixed it but suggested I get a new tire to be safe. i think i'll drive my car into a wall and get my $5600 new car protection back and buy a t/c cobalt. that might hurt though.. so maybe not afterall.

 

i dont think the t/c has protection against nails in tires lol

that sucks man, just get the shop to fix it and if down the road the tire explodes buy a new one used off the forums here

or ill trade u my 17's better traction

 

no i'm just really annoyed with gm its such a hassle with everything, this stage 2 bs and even regular maintenance like this tire.. i phoned 2 stealerships and asked if I could drop in and have the tire fixed quickly and they say no "we would have to book you in".. and "we don't know when they could get around to it so it might be an hour"

so i stop at stafford auto service on the way to work and and they fix it in literally 5 minutes..

any time you get a chance jeff is good for me. If you need the internals right away it only takes me about 15 mins to get the lens off and clean out the old sealant while it's still soft. So, just let me know buddy.

i'll get it to you on sundayafternoon.i dont need the internals for a couple of days so that should work out.i dont even need you to clean the glue out cause the housing is destroyed by a big ol crack and mounting tabs are gone lol so if want the lense no worries

 

yah i know what you mean, but i'm a nerd accountant so i always figured out how much i'm losing and that 10 bucks extra per fillup amounts to $500 a year for me which would buy a nice carbon fibre hood (almost)

and guess what everyone, like i said, my summer tires are on, now its snowing

sorry i really couldnt do much to help ya out today.. i was hoping the tech could do the reflash without a workorder therefore costing u very little. but the managers have gotten tough on that apparently.. this is their point of view,if somebody backed into your car...it would be considered your problem and i dont think you would want that.
the whole task apparently takes about a half hour but they charge you for a whiole hour which =$80.
Thats absolute bullshit there is no way you should have to pay for another flash.

JP sorry i didnt wave or anything at ya my drivers window is broked didnt know if you could see me or not getting fixed tomorrow.

ok well i talked to my buddy at mitsu and the tech advisor there use to work for vikars chev and is a really good guy...also a customer of wholesale sports . my buddy said they should be able to give you a reflash at vikar mitsu, i am going to talk to the head tech dude sometime next week and see if i can get your problem resolved.

Holy **** what a JOKE these dealers are being. If the guy at Vicars cant do the flash for ya then I will. Sorry ill have to charge you $80, because thats the cost of the credits for HP tuners. But then look on the brightside.....i can always tune your car for ya later down the road.

 

i was thinking today.. i dont know weither or not i have LSD. i bought used so i didnt get that sticker on the window with all the options on it. i know for 05/06 it came as a pkg with recaro seats... how do i know if i have it on my 07?

It does work to a certin extent, but it isnt as informative as i would like. it tells you standard features and safety features. all the vin decoders i tried seem to be the same way.
