for those of you who don't know, my dad's whole side of the family (including my Dad) live in (or around) Winnipeg...

I have a great-aunt that's turning 99 this year, and after several years of recieving "birhtday get-together notifications" measured in (virtually) hours instead of hte prefered weeks, I went to my other great-aunt directly, and asked that she let me know as soon as anything is planned (God willing she remain in good health to that point)... so that's the one tentative visit I have planned...
I'll probably make it a week long visit too...

Otherwise I can hold stuff for pickup or what not too...

Autopac over charged 45% this year. So if you have a clean licence (not at fault accidents or tickets)
You will get a refund. Assuming it's in your name. For those of you who don't have it in your name but pay for it hit up whoevers name it's in for some money!

750 was jus my Balt. I have another car that I got an additional 350 for!!

weird... did they cite a new poilcy, or was there some kind of error in their system?

I know i looked into Autopac insurance rates late last year(?), at which time I saw the insurance quoted was comparable to AB's (private) insurance...
In the end the "communist" system actually means that as the insured, you're going to get on the average lower settlements or what not... so I'll knock it in my own way... becasue that's my perogative...

just saying...

how much performance gain would I see with a tune on my g5 gt with a cai and gmpp performance exhaust?
Also, anyone know a decent painter that could paint my front ss/sc lip after I receive it next week? I would like to do the evo mod as well.

quite frankly, I had a sit down with Vince last week;
IMHO, you'ld be better off with talking to Projekt about getting a tune... sounds to me as though it would be a better bang for the buck for someone in your shoes...

if there's humor implied... I've totally missed it...

I actually liked the Cobalt SS (& Pursuit-GT/G5-GT) from day one, but it was the SS/TC, that made me go to the dealer to look into actually buying one... and even then, I waited for the right price.

if you wanna get rid of your G5 like it's some communicable disease, I've got some other options...

Yeah Projekt would be the one to talk to about tunes.
I can't imagine you would see huge gains up top but from what I've read it would liven up how the power delivery in the mid range. It would probably feel allot sportier. If your trying to make your car more fun to drive do it! If your looking for fast ETs and to be putting the run on turbo cars it may not be for you.

Anyone care to chime in?

The rates were about the same as the year before there was just 45% less claims than average this year. Big one being lack of hail storms and what not that damage hundreds of cars in one go.

Actually the rebate is because autopac had approx $320 million more sitting in the bank that they set aside for PIPP that was over estimated for because they did not have historical data on what they needed since bringing in the PIPP. So now they have 17 years worth of data and the Public Utilities board ordered them to pay back the surplus to the customers an amount equivelent to 45% of the 2010 premium. You can read about it on the MPI site.

It's crazy loud. Even at 1 psi you can just hear the air sucking through the filter. Wot I'd awesome. When the bpv let's air off it's like a really nice sounding bov. Buy not really awfull and high pitched.

Cold start with the hood open sounds like a jet taking off lol.
