Wrecked Bumper

So.. I backed into someone at work the other nite.. just pretty much taped them.. and my whole bumper split.. Cause of the cold and such.. made it really easy damage.

So I basically got to replace the whole back bumper..

I got priced at a body shop 800.. thats with a new bumper and painted and install.

bumper is like 450

So I am thinking.. Think it would be best to go with an aftermarket bumper.. if I can get one for the same price instead of going with the normal ss/sc bumper with the skirt.

And if ya guys know of any places I can pick up a rear bumper..

If you buy a fiberglass bumper, it is going to break much much more easily, and it is going to cost alot more for fitment

Go stock again ... haven't seen a nice one out there yet that isn't either ricey looking or that isn't too plain.

If your looking to go a cheaper route, go to a B/S and get an estimate using a Aftermarket OEM style bumper (keystone), instead of a GM Part.

The price they quoted you is a little bit off. I manage a paint and body shop in Texas and in my computer it comes out to $703.53. The bumper cover lists from GM for 306.15. Part number is 12336078. Do not put an aftermarket bumper on though. I have installed many many body kits and none of them ever fit right unless serious fabrication is involved.
