I'd only recommend GMS1 if you're worried about maintaining warranty - and even then the Trifecta can be hidden;
I believe the dealer I'm going to (Jack Carter) looks for a hidden tune every time I'm in - because every time I pick up my car my cruise button is engaged...
Little do they realize that Trifecta tunes can be full time, or activated by traction control or cruise buttons (not that I have it)... or that a tune can be installed on a second computer all together...
HPT = always will be seen on the Tech2 scanner
Trifecta = can always be hidden
Ya that's one thing I'm worried about, even with my dad being a service manager at a dealership. and I should be able to get GMS1 for a decent price (hopefully).

I also don't know too much about trifecta, read little bit of the basic but thats about all

if you come out on the 7th - I should be able to answer any questions you have...

iirc your dad is a service manager in Lethbridge - isn't that right?

sway bar end links do not require a re-alignment.

Yup that's right... I might make it out on the 7 but don't know for sure, Just don't wanna trifecta right away, and get caught with it or anything. (and i know it can be hidden )

if your going to do the endlinks, I'd suggest setting aside atleast 2 hours to do it. and have a good pair of vice grips on hand. Slim long nose ones worked best for me! lol

Oh and a 3 foot pry bar

I snuck in my vote for FrossB too.

Although I gotta admit if you hadn't asked, I would've voted for StevesBlack06. I have a soft spot for '06 SS/SC's, lol.

Happy New Year everyone! All the best in 2012.
