... and if I was ever worried about getting beat, I would have never started racing with my Grand Am!

IMHO, that car is a true 'Rodney Dangerfield' of the GM Sport Compact scene.

i really do love that vid......... lol someone needs to show that to cobe.....

well just do me one fav..... since i have no plans for meth, stay as you are for one race..... then go meth...... maybe then i will go no2, then we race again.....

i do wish to see big bird kick some booty, even if it is mine.... however i think it would be awesome if old edward can kick some tc gms1, however i doubt it.... thus in need of no2....

is it just me but when did the lnf's out number the lsj's? if i am counting correct i believe there are 5 maybe 6 possible fast lsj's in this province.... heck there is that many lnf's in calgary alone.... jon better turbo swap sooner then later hahahahah.....

I have ZERO immediate plans.

I have bought NOTHING for my car in... crap, I haven't a clue how long it's been.... well over a year - if you don't include the defouler, probably an honest two years.

... besides, my official stance has not changed one iota;

The slowbalt is the daily driver;
The Grand Am is the "1320" car;
The 'bird (as in the [i]real['i] 'bird) is the cruiser - which I will build for THIS series.

As of the last foray at Castrol, I think that the whole irony here is that the daily driver is the fastest of all three!?

But I hope to have ALOT more fun with the GA, and get it deep into the 14's (iirc it's current best is a DA corrected 14.4), and with a little luck, I can get the 'bird in the 13's.

I'm pretty sure that the O2 sensors are different from the lnf's to the LSJ's.

You could try and get it under warranty since it affects the propper operation of the motor but I highly doubt they will go for that

nope.

nice try but she has nothing to do with that.

plus I've only been associating with her for around seven months now - so I don't know how I'd blame her for the eighteen or so months prior

my slowbalt was always intended to be the daily driver, and as such I've limited what I was going to do, and have done to it - that's what hte Grand Am is about.

If anything has tapped me out over the last couple years regaurding modding car(s), it's home ownership.

now now moddest answer.... home ownership will do it too, however indirectly gf's have a influence no matter what you say or think..... its not like ella says you cant have this or that part, she is all for me enjoying my hobby if i can afford too.... alot of the times its just coz you choose to do things with them over parts.... which is understandable completely.... the trick is to find the right balance....

yes i have to agree with jon i dont think the sensors are the same.... however it very well could be and we just dont know..... i know my front is diff from the rear sensor........... i feel the warranty thing is a lost cause..... good news is if i recall correct the sensor isnt that expensive.... no more then 130 iirc

out of curiosity jonathan, which sensor are you having issues with? I currently have codes for the secondary H02S performance, stuck lean etc.

I neglected scanning it last night - it just popped up last night;
my thoughts are it's the O2 becasue my EFR gague was crapping out on me - it literally had a red slash through icon on the face which said "data not available"...

I'm thinking that since the EFR is wholly taken from the O2 - that it probably shouldn't be anything else.

I also get the afr data unavailable. if it is your dowstream sensor, I'd be willing to bet its because of the downpipe

So good new guys will have a set of rod bearings and main bearings from gm tonight they are over night shipping then from the states for a cost of 65.75 for each kit and did a little more reaserch with a stock crank I am able to push the bearings with a pick up and over the crank. Now the only thing I can seem to find is the measurement te plasti gauge is suppose to be when I torque the bearings anyone happen to have that info?

i say good news lucky guy..... i still say its in your best interest to take the time and not be in a hurry to drive it..... you do have a 2nd car you use..... so why not use it...... meanwhile you can find a used tvs for 1500 or so and bam you could be a solid 350hp to the wheels with a lil patience.... you dont need much for other parts, maybe step colder plugs, 60lbs injectors, front mount ic and tune.... all these things are fairly cheap, it is the tvs that can be expensive.... then you can beat me...

wait!? - you're home??!?

I thought you were getting back tomorrow.

I'm baby-sitting right after work tomorrow, but can run the cam by afterwards later if you like.

or any other night...

I'll be twiddling my thumbs over here between sunday morning (when I drop off the GF at the airport), and the 26th...

when exactly are you around versus doing your family Christmas shindig?

I'm assuming everyone is busy between sunday and the 25th?

been running the downpipe for a year, never saw this before.

even if the 02 is the issue, and GM doesn't cover it under any warranty, I do, as I said before, have a spare...
