i haven't molested the balt in a while... except putting it back together.
however i have been playing with the jeep. in the process of doing a DPF delete and a tune to make 440 torque.

biggest priority for the balt is getting an alignment. drove the little guy last week and the steering wheel was basically 45° to the left to make the car go straight. tracked good just the wheel is pointed the wrong direction.

I found first hand (being admin elsewhere) by having fewer people in charge, it keeps things running relatively smoother.
gotta keep out the riff-raff!

Wow that was quite the read for the last couple days. Ok, lets start.
First off, congrats Jon and your new wife-to-be Always makes me smile when people can find actual solid love in this world and hold onto it. Too many things have seemed to change in the last 10-15 years that make this alot harder, and alot more rare to see. I am happy for you guys, and wish nothing but the best for you two. I will say, I have met quite a few people off POF and another dating site here in Edmonton, and most of them are typical to the sites they are on... but on a couple of occasions I have met wonderful ladies who break that mold. I myself was not in the right place in my life to attempt anything serious, but not everyone is just "out to get something" on there. You just have to put in the time and effort to find that one person for you
Secondly, it was great meeting everyone that I did on Sunday, whether for the first or second time. As I said, I am terrible with the name-to-face thing, so I am sorry if anyone got offended that I didnt remember you. Ill get it one of these days! The drive was fantastic, and it was nice to just get out of the city for the day and do something carefree and relaxing... hence why we were like 3 hours late to Jon's house haha. Cross Iron mall was cool to finally check out (although the woman now wants to drag me back there ASAP), and Peter's was definitely worth the snowy drive to get that milkshake. So damn thick, my mouth hurt afterwards (make jokes all you want, i dont care!). Good times, thank you for hosting us northern counterparts.
As for the up in activity... since I was a jbody enthusiast for the last few years and watched that scene slowly die off from inactivity and lack of production, it is nice to be back in a semi-active grouping with some very nice cars and even more nice people. Its been good getting to know the 'balt crowd, and I have made some good friends and some very large purchases in the recent months, and its all great fun! I hope that this activity continues, and next summer we can all get together sometime and show off our pride and joys, get some races in, shoot the **** and maybe find some more members
That should just about cover it. Hope everyone had a good monday and the rest of the week slides by without incident.

i know what you mean. theres like 3 or 4 groupds down here in the tulsa/okc area. 4 or 5 admins easily per group. it's ridiculous. stuff is always changing, posts and topics being deleted. or someone will call out one of the admin's over something stupid and because they know they're wrong they just delete the group. costing some of us, like myself with my fiber glassing and general maintenance/aftermarket install work, a decent amount of money. makes me pretty frustrated sometimes to say the least.
Hey its ok, I am sure there will be plenty other times to get together. My woman would go to Calgary every weekend if she could, she likes it down there, so I never really need an excuse to head that way. Just dry roads and the promise of road head haha

BAHAHA sounds legit
Well lets see if we can spark a conversation. Its decision time. After seeing Jon's shifter installed and talking with him and Brenden about the benefits of going with a new shifter and replacing the bushings, I am looking at the TWM short throw. I am going to stick with the M1 Abrams style shift knob, but am undecided on the finish and whether i should get it engraved or not.
So my car is white, and I have the black/grey color scheme inside, nothing has been changed. I am thinking of either the Satin finish, or the Gunmetal finish. Or should I be ballsy, and go fancy with the Black Pearl finish? What are some of your guys' opinions? And if I go a dark color, is it worth it getting the pattern engraved, or is that only for the light finishes?

bahahaha i want this upgrade now too
how about the type r oversized, u know u will be faster with a type R!!!
i like the black pearl bro with pattern.
Haha gold... ill just get some suby rims to match too
But I am a fan of round shifters, not the longer ones... so I think the Abrams is the one that I will stick with. That black pearl does look sick though...
