In light of the recent builds going on and the updates I have seen. I, by some for of magic or the drugz in the water have found motivation to rip that motor apart.
Here's a before which was about novemberish:
and this happened over the course of a day and a half, just a few issues with stupid Torx heads as you have probably read!
January:
I think I should have the crank out by monday and the pistons will follow shortly after. I leave for work on tuesday so I'll have to find a good engine shop when I get back.
Jonathan, I didn't forget about your post and will check those guys you mentioned out as soon as I can! Thanks for the help, All of you!

Wheres the damn like button??? How was the motor pull to do? I haven't dont mine yet. Just the head. Going to do the swap all in one shot when my new motor is assembled. I did a clutch swap though and that was easy as hell. Much more to the motor coming out??

well we dropped the whole subframe. it came out of jrmotorsports old car that got totaled. 1 subframe bolt wouldn't come out as the nut holding it broke loose inside the frame on the passenger side so we had to cut the control arm and the subframe.
In the LSJ build book, they drop the subframe and do everything from there, that's how I am going to do my swap this summer.
pulling the motor and trans off the subframe wasn't that bad. there's just some bolts that you might not see the first time around. it just takes time and alot of patience!
