bowties should be pretty easy mang...
tape and paper off the edges so there is no over spray onto things u dont want painted.....
take a piece of sandpaper... like 500 grit or so prolly.. jus to rough up the surface.. (wipe after)
spray a layer of plastic primer, let it dry then spray a later of Plastic paint (ive found krylon works best)

what color do you wanna paint them LLP? i got the red paint if you wanna do em red..... and yah like trav said, just tape off the silver part of the bowtie i used a tooth pick to make sure the tape was tight in the corners and **** (so the paint dont run under the tape and onto the silver part) then i just did about 5 coats of paint....

usually its better to remove the emblems as to avoid any overspray at all as paper can rip and such. the front one is easy the rear one you would have to reapply with some 3m double sided adhesive.

the front one i took off, its just held on by a bolt, but the rear one i left on adn i just taped newspaper all over the back of my car...just dont do it on a windy day, or do it inside a garage. i think black would look good with your rims...chrome wouldnt look as good imo

The reason I am thinking chrome is to accent the chrome on the rims. But black would look good also.
Hmmmm................what to do.

to see how chrome looks why dont you put some tin foil on the badge and then look at it from a distance..? i think it could either look really good or really bad. black would def look good though

Another reason that I am thinking of chrome is because I am not going to be debadging the car, so I don't want to hide the chevy symbol and have the other two badges on the back sticking out like sore thumbs.

chrome would loook kinda over the top dont yah think? black with the chrome 'lip' of the badge would look unreal since you wheels are all black with a chrome lip/accent your car is black with a crhome accent .....
