Seriously? Ford has been KNOWN to have cars catch on fire.
Remember the huge recall that Ford had on the F-150 that the cruise control never turned off when the truck was not running, the solenoid or sensor would get super hot under the hood and the trucks would catch on fire sitting in the driveway or worse, in the garage.

Just to give you guys and idea of what the car looks like. Mine is Satin Silver Metalic, this one is Tungsten Grey Metalic.. Other than that my car is identical.
I will get pics up when I have time.

I use to own a 86 fox chassi LX 5.0 and loved the car but sold it back in 92 so I could go to school. For a pure muscle car its your best bet and bang for the buck. I know it's not the fastest out there but I just could not handle having to sink any more cash into that CHEVY. The cobalt was a nice car but plagued with to many problems. Stock clutch issues, Staged clutch issues, bad idle problems straight from factory, inferior interior accents (had those replaced), rollpin for shifter snapping (had that warrantied 3 times) and the final straw for me was it sounded like the new slave cylinder/throw out bearing was starting to squeel or at least I think it was. Oh...and the spec stage 3 I put in would moan and sound like it was slipping a bit on cold days.
So before anything else happens I felt it was just time to get rid of it. Well that and I don't think that they will warranty anything that has to do with that clutch any more so I was not taking any chances. The next owner of the car is still getting a great car but it was enough for me.
Cheers

nice ride larry, how is the gas milage on the v8? comapred to the coby?
and hey is anyone interested in a Cobalt series wideband guage? its only used for about 1000Km's, im selling it cause im getting rid of my zzp header/dp combo so i no longer need a wideband.
and i guess is anyone interested in a zzp header/dp combo? 1.5 primaires with 2.5 dp bolt on. extra bung w/ plug and high flow cat.
we can work on prices on both of these.

They gave me a full tank and I have driven about 250 km so far and it is sitting at just below 3/4 of a tank. Now most of that is highway that I put on today. Now the GT has a 60 L tank compaired to the Cobies 50L tank. On par I would say that I am getting a bit more gas milage over the Coby. The true test would be city driving and getting used to the shift points in the mustang. I am so use to a heavey clutch and the mustangs is so fluent I need time to adjust.

the gugae glows blue but apparently you can change out the leds with green red and a couple other colors...i liked the blue though.
and bigrob, for the header/dp combo hard to say, it was used for around 2000KM's maybe like 350-400$$...

Sweet on the meth, when are you installing it? Yeah not pushing boost does have its privilages and the fact that I no longer have to run prenium fuel is a plus.

ah i get it. but no one wants a catless DP. ill sell you just the DP if you want, for a good price, unless someone wants the header/Dp combo. im gonna leave the header on for now because its such a bitch to take off its not really worth it unless someone really wants the combo. but im taking the DP off right now.

I'm not sure when I'm gonna install it. I kinda wanna get my h/e and clutch installed and get my short pulse adders tuned along with my ve before I start screwing with the engine too much. I got the meth, but now I gotta figure out where to get pure distilled water for cheap...
