With some traction that should be no problem. Not sure how the Edmonton track is.

let's put it this way Dustin;
his last time running at the track was with "Eddie";
bone stock except for intake and headpipe;
iirc he ran 15.3

Mark, last year I broke into the 13's (just barely);
Jon ran a best (iirc) of 14.7

Castrol is a great track.

I think I need Evan to give me pointers on how he's pulled off such good e/t's... comparably, I suck. (iirc he's got 3/10ths on me)

nailed it on the head.......... hahahahahahhahaha

i figure on castrol i would be in around 14.2, maybe on a hole shot i might nail 14_.......

castrol is a excellent track, at about 1500 ft iirc..... great track prep and not much for ruts.... essentially the polar opposite of race city when it was open.....

oh, I do.

i think I might be inclined to wind it out a smidge too far;
then again, after driving a four banger car that would keep making power till lifter float (somewhere north of 8,000rpm), breaking habit, has been a bit tough.

****, I just get out and push my car to the 60ft and then get a rolling start. **** traction

Haha no, I was good on launches because I used to practice feathering in my sunfire before the 'balt... I dont use the comp mode, i just turn traction off, launch somewhere near 2500, and feather through first. And last year, I was even running on winter tires

We shall see how a set of Nitto's will help the times this year. I like Castrol because, as said, its a great big track, no real ruts, and they painstakingly keep the pavement clean and running awesome. I do tend to avoid the water box though, it can get a bit messy in there after a few rounds of the staging lanes.

more to come....

Mark and Jonathan: I think I know why i was only getting about 4 psi of boost.
the boost controller does not need to be connected to the mani. Its killing my boost.
see here: boost leak? 2.4/sc

Your 60ft was 2.3 on your best 13.9 run iirc?

nope, iirc all my sloer runs had crappier 60';
once I got into the groove of things, I could repeatedly pulle off 2..1's - but that was about as good as I could muster, no matter if I tried bogging or what not...

Maybe Evan was on to something with staying out of comeptition mode...
