A buddy does but he doesn't really tune just anyone

your reading skills have clearly diminished, i said if i am lucky. meaning if all goes well and i get out of the m62 you can have 2 shots. 1 on a slightly faster set up then the last time we went at it. 2 on a completely different set up.

i believe what he means about the tuner is, he only wants to tune select people of his choice.

OK good to know I 've done a lot of reading on tuning the lnf and I bought Terminator2 hp tuners so its almost fully unlocked I have lots of really good starting points but I don't have anything on an zfr yet and just wanted to see the main changes. I'll prob just buy a tune then change to my likings from there

i heard of a guy somewhere off of 32 in the ne. davenport uses him once in while. i heard good things about his skills with imports and domestic v8's. i just cant remember the company name. i looked him up once and i remember it wasnt cheap even with starting baseline tune provided.

I've heard to stick with someone who knows the lnf because of the direct ignition. I have the gm stage 1 tune, my bsr tune and 2 tuning guides online. so for stock turbo im fine but with a zfr the top 2 guys aren't tuning anymore so I could go with the #3 guy or someone local who may not know the car. what would you do?

You mean direct injection lol. I personally would find some one local willing to put in the time to tune. Nothing like having issues with the car and your tuner is somewhere in the states

Yes true direct injection but I also have direct ignition I'm thinking of getting an lnf tune then locally fine tuned on a dyno

id learn to trust a trained professional. i wouldnt just say anything unless i knew the guy was certified and understood on how to tune every car. with your knowledge and his i am sure you would end up with a satisfactory product in your car.

True enough what i'll do is when I get dynoed in march I'll look around to see what people know around town and who does hp tuners. Im waiting for a 7163 zfr but if not done by late may I'll get the 6758
