Hey Mark!!!
You wanna know how our new year started out?!
Hint: remember the last MAJOR PITA issue you had with 'Eddie'?
We had the same thing go on our C-SRT4!
crap-on-a-stick!

I was randomly checking in here for the last couple months, and it was D-E-A-D in here!
i went abouta week without internet access, and then when I did check my emails I saw no alerts of activity here, so I stopped checking in...
Yeah, Caliber...
We drove it up to Prince George after Christmas, and spent the first part of January up there.
Early in the new year we popped into one of Jamie's grandmothers place for a visit, and when we came back out it wouldn't start.
That's it, no warning, nothing seemed wrong, it just wouldn't crank...
We found out the hard way that this fancy 'GM Optimum Used Car Warranty' is rather worthless, because nothing electrical is covered...
Well, at least the tow was covered...
Long story short, both the fuse box and ignition switch (I don't think that the latter was needed), were replaced late last week. The fuse box (part) and install on the fuse box was over a grand...
ugg.
oh well, I have no reason to think this is a common occurance - which is whyI suspect that it stumped us on your car, because I had never heard of them going bad before...
It's still a great little car - and Jamie's loving it.
But what happened here since early december:
it got busy;
it died off for a week or so;
it got busy again;
nathan popped in to **** people off;
nathan left in typical fashion;
the world goes 'round...
I'm with you 110% Mark - multi use facility, or I couldn't give a flying...
lol
if I keep getting emails of activity, I'll keep coming back (I have to pop back into CSS.net tomorrow to upload a pic, and edit a 'for sale/trade' thread i made any way )
Also, before I forget, I am glad to read that 'monster' is doing better.

holy crap it was jonathan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good to see you back.
that fuse box was way more expensive then ours. the css is about 550. dude that really sux. i sorry to hear this. but at least you have figured out the issue and now enjoying the caliber. im glad to hear it didnt ruin jamie and yours holidays. it is rather wierd that fuse boxes go but nothing surprises me
nate is ok and yes he did come by. unfortunately, he opened his mouth up a lil too wide. im sorry but a single use facility is absolutely useless in these parts. he will be fine no harm done. still like the big galut.
the monster is battle hardened soilder. he bounces back like no one i have ever seen before.
as for a tvs build. weeeeeeeelllllllll since day one of owning a balt it has been about the tvs. so everything i do is to make it one step closer to slapping the biatch down. however this might be the year i actually have the op. i was contacted a few weeks ago and the offer was put on my plate. i said YES hell YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS like a excited young bride. so now i need to use some patience and soon enough god willing i will hopefully be there sometime this year.
i am having issues with my wideband. i may need a new one if i cant fix it. does anyone have one kicking around? prefer innovate lc1, even just the control moduale and wiring. i also think i need a evap control module and possibly a sc boost bypass valve. im chasing misfires like crazy.
jonathan i have done a few changes to my setup. im not sure my current tune is liking it as much as i do. i figure vince is going to want some money to have a look or make revisions. however i may need another huge revision later( to be honest i most likely run hpt with tvs). anyways i did a ac delete, 3 inch intake, header, and catback. also i have a ls4 TB here unable to play with coz of the need a of a tune revision. also there is a strong possibility of some more very serious mods (pnp head) down the way. what are your thoughts jonathan?
also guys i have a shop full of parts i am willing to deals on. first come first serve.
