cheapest route is tvs for me. your right i could recoup some cash with my 2 sc's. at least it will soften the blow of 2000. if i was to convert to turbo i would gain more potential but spend more. i really dont think i could recoup alot of cash with the sale of the sc related stuff. i will put some thought into it over the winter. maybe swing a deal on a tvs. i just wish there was more options sc.

in the end its still a balt.

You have a lot of SC parts you'll get most of it back just ask Dustin he did the swap

Turbo is the only way to go with this platform if you don't have access to E85. Theres always that other option.....LS3 swap in an FD RX7 with a huge turbo...just sayin...

i dont think so in my case. i believe the only things i would get a decent price for is intake, option b, intake mani and sc. the header has been fixed, the HE is old and bent, the dual pass is homemade.

Dual pass is what people were selling before zzp made that crap casting. Header is still worth $400ish even being that old

still a long ways from recouping anything on a turbo build. with the right situation i could have a tvs for approx 1000/1400 net cost.

although if you ask me that HE is the best made piece i have seen. minus the bend it still looks mint.

Selling my TVS was the saving grace in my SC to turbo swap costing me virtually nothing. And dem American dealz from Taylor and hunting for good deal items that weren't with the partial kit I bought from Taylor.

i think your very lucky to be able to have done the swap for the cash you did. i really think the only option i have is to find a deal on a tvs. i know i have said in the past i wouldnt but once i recoup some cash from my m62's the price of a tvs isnt so bad. i still think it is underpowered but it flows more then the m62 and thats the bottom line. if that dont do it for me its time i switched to a v8.

Ya Taylor and I were chatting about your car over the weekend. After a pull your intake temps are getting way too high for pump gas. The motor is just heat soaked. As kev said I beat Slapbetcommissioner's TC GMS1 with nothing more than a 2.8" pulley and 7gph nozzle. Stock exhaust.

A TVS will be a great add on if you are looking more power but again I'd spray meth as well. No matter what being supercharged you're fighting heat. That's why I went turbo.

got the money? i dont lol @ kevin

to be fair to that guy, even if we got clean runs win or loose, its just not enough. im not even sure a tvs would cure what i want. i think i just want a better car or truck in the first place. something i can start fresh with, and have much more potential.

maybe its my mid life crisis time hahahahahahaahaha

i dont see much point, i dont have a real grudge with the other car.

when sammy fires up his car it damn near blows me over if i stand 10 ft from the exhaust. now i know that takes alot of cake but damn it gives me a new goal.
