maybe its my mid life crisis time hahahahahahaahaha

Sorry to break up the love fest..... I don't recommend doing anything under a vehicle in a garage without a lift! It's a bit of a workout for the upper body and the vocabulary

And for those of you not on Facebook......

dude you know me, i will always work somewhat close to my means. it takes time to compile parts and build a car. the biggest issue would be to get anything decent out of the balt. no sense in giving it away. in the mean time i will keep my eyes open for a tvs.

Happy?

And driving into the car wash the other day, I could still see the 454 outline on the box in the water vapor

i think if we got a clean run off i would have nosed him. the only reason is because i rev to 7200. i never got past 5500/6000 in third. we both know thats where my car is happiest.

meth would allow me to pull on him. so if your looking for a really close race it is his car and mine as they sit.

Not running at least to the top of 3rd is a no good race in an LSJ! Not saying you'd beat him for sure, but you need to have a fighting chance.

Jon, how do you even get traction in that truck?!

@jon
that will always be there forever and ever so get use to it lol. you wont see the outline as per say, but with water vapor and static thats a different story. you need a new box anyways hahahahaha. bloody miracle the truck looks as good as it does.

Apparently the gas isn't a switch anymore. It's now a adjustable dimmer.Name:  EAB4C0B2-2292-40C6-8D86-6F5897DE901C_zpsfkadqx70.jpg

there is no need to wet sand it. you can if you want but that wont cure static. or the way water sits on the area. you cant see hardly anything as it sits dry and clean. when a decal has been on a area for extended periods of time it will some how always attract dust or water vapor and you will see a ghosting. you dont see the scratches. even if you did i could use heavier compound.

that part is a slacker and should be fired.

So this should be a good learning experience. Gotta pull the oil pump to install the screen and pick up. They are a press/hammer fit so I would suspect that the stock pump and tube got put in when my motor was rebuilt 3 years ago. I'd say it either came loose on install or was installed back in to the pump. So looks like I may be installing a new pump if the tube doesn't go back into the hole and fit tight

Now after I supercharge it over winter I'm hoping for 650 to wheels. But I'm also debating switching out to a ls or 512.
