It was fun. Tough track day, chilly with a 15mph headwind. Times honestly didn't seem bad for the 60' we were all running, but the traps were super low! Talked to a local who has been running his old truck there for years, and he ran .13 slower and trapped 3.3mph slower this weekend than last weekend. I still managed a 13.0 @106.5 with a 1.96 60'. That was my 3rd run. After that the prep got shotty it seemed like, car didn't wanna hook well, and my footballs blew out in my rear springs Drove my friends' cars faster than they did too, so that was fun lol

I'm gonna pick up some air bags for the back and put the line in the trunk so I fill them without getting under the car

I thought that road sucked too much traffic for good rolls. Next time I'll bring my car since Aaron prob won't be here but both Brad and Aaron had so much fun they wanna come back and didn't want to leave in the first place.

I still put the footballs in there, I just wasn't able to pump them up Still helped a bit with the squat but not like normal. Oh well, don't need footballs in the red car I did end up running a personal best in a friend's car. 11.64 @122 mph with a 1.73 60'.

Why don't you need them in the red car? What car did you run the best time in?

I have coilovers in the red car, and I can set them so stiff that it doesn't even squat a half inch with 2 250 lb friends in the back!

I ran the 11.6 in my friend's 510whp STi. And still only trapping 122 with that much power tells you how tough things were lol. I banged the **** out of dem gears! Have to shift it 4 damn times down the track, he asked if I set up no lift shift before the run and I said no I was just shifting quickly

I'm guessing that'll have to wait for next year racing slicks are coming off this week and dropping boost to stg1 levels and soon taking meth off and dropping to 89 or 91

looks like i missed out on some fun!

I'd be interested in knowing how my car would run against Aaron's;
We both have catless dp, I don't know that the mudfler delete dows anything other than make the car louder, his K&N SRI will give him an edge on me though...

Ya me too for sure he's wanting to come down again soon they had so much fun here. BUT.... his clutch is slipping now so he's gonna fix that first. He will be back in 2 weeks.

He's running 24psi on 13*

Are you upset about them only using the stock belt?

nope, I finally hooked up another PCV on the other valve cover instead of the breather and shortly after that, the crank case pressure built up and shot oil out my 2 piece dipstick. I figure since the PCV's go into the intake where all the air being recirculated into is causing pressure to build up in the crankcase since 1200 cfm is just recirculating at the procharger

wow that will be 3 different tunes in 1 year. the funny thing was when he got his custom arp tune he said that was the best avail.

now now jon simmer down. you love that pro charger kit.

well as far as loosing skin and blood that is nothing new to me. this car has damn near drained me dry of blood.

well jonathan, if you can find time to come out and run with us, I already know we have someone who is willing to run you. so ask the wifey if you can come out and play. I already know we have a videographer. maybe after we will run the grand damns too.

the runs we started with jon where i couldnt get it into second was kind of surprising. we would line up and to my surprise at the end of first we were even or i was slightly ahead. shift and nooooooo gooooooo. so i would end up chewing on the rubber chunks as jon would pass me. that truck is redonkulous hahahahaha, if he got traction it would be bad a$$ fast. the 2 of us running together is stupid loud hahahahahahaha. we all had a great time.
Haha hell ya mark! That was too much fun. My car doesn't have much done to it at the moment. Just the k&n Sri, catless dp, muffler delete, and tune. As for the loudness... **** when I raced Jon, I had to watch my rpm gauge cause I couldn't hear **** all until I pulled a little bit ahead. Your car and his truck though... Yeesh. People probably heard you both from downtown Cowtown. :P

This new one has 3 or 4 base tunes but then is fully adjustable on top of those base tunes. Sounds like Sean wants meth and a bigger turbo for next year I'm gonna talk to Matt and see what he can do for Sean

Ya it's too bad your clutch is slipping now but seeing your car with little mods do so well was awesome!

Haha, we laughed our asses off when Jon yelled that you were getting his truck dirty. I haven't noticed any slippage since Saturday. So crossing my fingers right now!
