The car came with a glow shift boost gauge. Now I know it's getting boost but for some reason it's not reading. Where should I start looking for why it wouldn't be reading.

Bought it off a dealer. So don't know the previous owners name. It's a glow shift boost gauge.

I saw a notification for this thread, and though Jon posted something...
I was going to post up that I found out last night that you bought a Cobalt... but you beat me to it!
Now! - lets get that sig updated!
Welcome back to the group Kris!
I might have a glow shift boost gauge - is if your wiring is good, and the gauge is faulty I could help you out...
I also have a spare Canadian (kpa) boost gauge if you're interested...

I may take you up on that glow shift gauge if this one doesn't work. Il looking into trying to find a triple gauge pod for the sedan but looks like they only make dual gauge pods

Last I heard Jon had a gauge surround with a single pod - if you are wanting three gauges, the dual pillar, and his surround might be your answer.
He is offering it at a really good price - I was going to buy it, but I backed out, because buying it would mean I would need to add a gauge, or delete a gauge;
I have the ZZP RPD+2;
Above my RPD is a factory analogue boost gauge (the rpd doesn't show vacuum), as well as a dedicated oil pressure gauge...
I really like my setup - but need to figure out how to properly dim the oil pressure gauge's backlighting to at least remotely match the dash...
The only merit in an aftermarket boost gauge for us is that they can show more accurately what is going on - but my take from it, is:
If he ECM doesn't see it, who cares how accurate a gauge is?
I'll look into it tonight...

He that looks like it's gonna be my route from looking online. I'd be doing glow shift boost and oil pressure gauge with an aero force interceptor

fyi: adding an oil pressure gauge is a major pain in the dick...
you need to remove a main oil feed plug - which is on the block, under the intake manifold.
the insulator is in the way, and then you need to angle the oil pressure sending unit so that it doesn't hit the intake ect.

Well the RPD shows max psi and I have ran 34psi so a good gauge is nice to have also the 3 bars only show 32.2
