So I'm not sure what you folks are up to this long weekend but if you have nothing better to do I will be at Nature's Hideaway just south of town camping with some friends, sittin back and drinking.

Here is a map to the campground and we are in sites L and M right along the Highwood river:

Come and join me for a beer on Saturday and maybe a raft down the river. If you feel like camping for the night give me a ring and I'll let you know if we have room.

Cheers

so here's a little story for all of you who think its ok to drink and drive. after a good night of dancing and being at the club with some sexy ass lady's. it was time to go and i was driving my drunk ass brother home and i'm just driving nice and i look ahead and i see this suv all of a sudden veer right smacked some construction cones and then veered left right into the cement barracade which sent the ass end flying up about 6 feet. the vehicle then went right again into some more cones stopped for a second as i was slowing down to so i could help the guy and call the paramedics. well as i started getting closer buddy drove off and as i'm driving every couple of feet there were more cones hit and this guy was speeding.

now i know he's gonna be in for a suprise when he wakes up in the morning and i hope he's ok but just goes to show that you shouldn't drink and drive at any time.

So i went to the bank last night around 2ish, when i came out there was this douchebag in a Subaru (like a legacy or something) Gibbering about how my car sucked but looked good, and that he could take me. This guy was slurring his words so obviously he was good and toasted.

Where the **** do these winners come from??

Good thing you didn't call the cops! You would have interupted their important work of hunting down all the street racers!

lol. i was thinking of it but you know how slow the cops are and by the time someone would have come out to investigate the guy would have been long gone and i would have been stuck talking to the cops for an hour answering their questions.

Where would I look for a cheep SNELL90 or better open face helmet around town? I'd like to pick one up b4 next friday so I don't have to rent one from race city again. I need it for Auto-x and possibly for the 1/4 in the near future.

"Son, have you been street racing tonight? Those are some pretty shiney wheels..."

Sorry guys... Over the last few week, I've lost a lot of faith with the Calgary police.

Good luck finding a Snell 90 helmet. That'd be a pretty old helmet... I got my helmet at Blackfoot Motorsports. Go there and talk to a guy in accessories named Mike and tell him Ed sent you down.

I dunno that i need to go as old as Snell 90 but that's the min requirement at race city. I'll go with watever Mike at Blackfoot thinks would work best then. Thx Ed

Has anyone installed a mechanical boost gauge? I picked one up, but I haven't got a clue how to splice the tiny vac hose into a main hose, or the best way to route it...
