This is the company that I dealt with when I had mine put in my car. They had it done in about 3 hours.

They are FANTASTIC and again I have never had a single problem with my alarm/starter system....and these guys specialize in Compustar.

Just incase some of you didn't see this in the damn it's cold thread here is a link to the canadian ocupational health and safety website that states the laws for working in the cold, some companies don't abide by these rules but it is in your best interest to check it out and look after yourself. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look at the last table. I hope this helps some of you

dood, not even kidding, i'd try another dealership, if that doesn't work i'd fukin call GM Canada and file a complaint, that's bullshit they won't replace it under warranty for something stupid like a different lock nut.........are u tellin me if i snap a wheel stud on mine and i bought an aftermarket wheel lock set they won't give me warranty??? I'd snap on GM if they did that to me.

Trav I would just replace them yourself, I had one of my wheel studs get stripped, the stud is like $23 at the dealer and its actually really easy to do yourself. just a matter of pounding out the old ones and sliding the new one in and pulling it through by threading on the lug nut.

Not to be the bad guy here........but honestly how is everyone so pissed and surprised? If I were GM I would be looking for any reason to not warranty something to save $$$. I guarantee this came from HIGHER UP in GM to be a lot tighter on the warranty issues. And the dealer sees something aftermarket, of course they are going to point the finger at that right away.
Now I am not saying it is RIGHT what they are doing, but I am just not surprised that they are not giving warranty.

I hear ya bro....but I guarantee that I would get the same line from the dealership if it happened to me with my summer rims. I would be pissed....don't get me wrong.....but again I would not be surprised with GM doing this.
Yeah like Ford is any better. I have heard many a horror story about Ford.....so honestly bro don't even start. We all know your sob story and to be honest we don't need to hear about it anymore.

All the more reason to NOT put aftermarket parts on my SS/TC, i can't afford to replace parts that are not covered under warranty, I sure as hell don't want to walk in with a problem on my ss/tc and walk out with no warranty because of one random aftermarket part. So far, it appears that ss/tc LNF stage kits will be released and with a new intake as well, if this is the case it's all the more reason for me to not go with a custom tune and aftermarket intake ect. For me, muffler delete and w/e stage kits GM brings out for my cobalt will keep me more than happy till I can afford something bigger/badder and RWD
