i'm specifically attacking the interior door handles, i love the exterior ones but i have a passion of hate for the interior ones. I MUST do something different with them, even if I have to do poppers like the C6 Corvettes with a button on the interior somewhere likely on the door, or a better handle, w/e i can find that is easier to do as both will take a good amount of hours to get it right.

Poppers are nice, but I have dealt with aftermarket poppers on other cars and they are nothing short of a P.I.T.A. because they have a tendency to not work in the colder weather. Plus they are mounted inside the door and the way they are mounted gives them up to moving around because of vibration and sometimes they do not work. As long as you have a secondary way of getting out of the car then you will be ok.

I am not trying to be an ass here......just my personal experience with dealing with them that's all.

Well best of luck because door handles aren't a quick swap and go thing. You have to make sure the door rods work properly with the new door handle and then you are going to have to probably re-mould the complete door cover inside to match the new door handle and make it flow properly. But if you are willing to have that done or do the work yourself....then have it!

this will be a DIY project for me to work on, it will take some work but I know it'll be 100% worth while in the end.

I had electric door poppers on my blazer and it was a piece of cake to connect them. I never had nay issues with them at all. Also the cobalt would be eaisier to do because the interior door handles are already hooked up by cable. All you would do is move the cable down inside the door and connect it to the popper. you could probably use the remote for unlock wired to a relay to pop the door too.
