i don't know if you drove your ol balt in the winter. i am positive of being a stang owner you are. that ford thought about stuff like rabbits when they built your car. hahaha so far my only complaint with our cars is they could have protected the front end a lil beter so when you hit a rabbit it doesn't cost you lil over $2000 to fix your damn car. hahaha gm kinda dropped the ball there hahaha

so i was talking with my tech buddy at **** after scanning my car for codes and checking misfire history (lots of misfires by the way) and he asked what fuel i was running. told him 91 and he told me not to use it in the winter time as it requires more heat/energy to burn and on the cold start ups it will misfire. so next tank i'm gonna switch back to 87 and see if that helps with the misfires on cold start ups.

On another note. I decided to run down to the nissan dealership to get them to check out my climate controls. Its like they short out every once in awhile. Although the service department was closed. Was talking to the sales guy that sold me the Z and the manager of the dealership. Showed them the mods i did to my tail lights, intakes and of course the nitrous set up. They told me to come by on monday to check out the issue with the climate controls and not to worry about the nitrous, it wont effect the warrenty..lol.

glad to hear you got a good dealer there.
and only thing i've done to my car engine wise is CAI, ported stock exhaust mani, and regapped my plugs to .041 rather then the stock .043. in the summer regapping the plugs to that cured all my misfire issues but when i scanned the car #1 was at 1200 and 2,3,4 were at about 600 each. and my tech buddy is one of the highest paid driveability/electrical techs in alberta so i trust him and it doesn't hurt to try it.

nope. we didn't really get a chance to talk at the meet at castrol so its cool. i'm gonna try 87 again and then rescan in a few weeks as there are a few other codes that i'm keeping an eye on. the misfires only really happen in the winter time which is to be expected with the CAI, hell last year every couple of weeks i would get a misfire code. this year it only popped up once. all my trims are good as i'm a stickler for that.

There's not really much of a choice out ther unfortunatly. I would just install on your stock struts when you get them and then when they go either install koni inserts ( looks like a Pain in the ass install but are good) or get some struts from a new tc, sounds like they are really good. You can get the entire suspension package from crate engine depot for 330 ( struts and rear shocks). Or bite the bullet and go with coil overs. What ever you do dont order from a dealership in town for the struts as they are a fortune. ( +200 each when i priced out)
