When thats done the car is done for the time being. I actually contimplated selling the coilovers to free up some cash.
Might install some n20 this summer but i dont know how that would go with the TVS, i already have 0 traction.

I think I saw that same silver wingless car on thursday at lunch - except it was pulling away from the taco time @ deerfoot meadows...
it's debadged too - but I saw reminant crud from the rear bowtie... nice looking & sounding car for sure!
I used to totally be in the pro-wingless club, but man, the highrise has REALLY grown on me...

well, a belated "hello" is in order - I know we saw each other but wasn't going to be a dork and wave just because I knew you were a fellow Cobalt SS owner...
I'm 90% certain you saw me roll into the taco time parking lot, and walking away from my car... that and you seeming to gun it as you left the lot!

ya mine is pretty unique to spot. black headlights, custom blacked out front grill, tinted windows, tinted tails. question marks painted into the third brake light and ss painted into the side marker lights.

that might be so, but driving by, not seeing the front or rear end (ect), it;s going to be a little tough to tell one from another...
then again, there is more than one yellow around town with a highrise too...
I have seen at least three others;
- one '09 (probably the one that Jack Carter had for about 11 months, and wouldn't budge on)
- one '05-07; spotted with steelies on in the deerfoot meadows parking lot last weekend; earlier car because the SS badge on the door was in the higher location.
- one '05-07; spotted by the antique mall off Blackfoot; running stock wheels; probably a later car because the SS badge was at the bottom of the door.

05 the ss badge was in the middle of the door 06 to present they moved it down to the bottom of the door.
and the only badges i got on mine are the ss ones on the doors. all other badges have been removed

thanks for the clarification...
I actually just bought a full set of spare trunk badges since I intend to eventually find a colour correct spoilerless trunk.
btw, if anyone here comes across a yellow coupe spoilerless trunklid that I can buy outright (none of this trade stuff), please PM me... it's one of the things I'll be keeping an eye open for on my forthcoming road trip...
