Yeh man that would be sweet to go for a rip with you, I will have my car out I believe if everything goes right on the 9th of April (last day of college ). What kind of numbers do you put down at the track and dyno... I am just assuming that you have done both haha. Also did you do the install yourself?
I will probably be coming up to edmonton in April sometime, so could stop by lacombe

The track best i pulled was 14.3 i think in calgary. My clutch is slipping really bad and i have no traction haha.... I now have all tractions mods as well just havent installed them yet. Havent bought a clutch yet as i think a change in launching might be able to reduce slipping ( Only been 2 times to track as hard to find time) I havent dyno'd it yet, i tried to get in to a couple times last year but they would never call me back. Im probably going to book some time this year and tune at the dyno as well rather than open roads . I have installed everything myself except when i put in 3 inch exhaust from the downpipe back-exhaust shop did that because i wanted it welded in so the flanges would quit leaking.

I can't say that I necissarily agree;
I don't know how it is around Edmonton, but (generally speaking) around here it seems everyone charges your left nut, but shops that do quality work are few & far between...
There are many places around Calgary that offer powder coating, but in the end, the cheapest option is probably going to live up to the old adage:
"You get what you pay for"
If I were you, I'd call up Alberta wheel repair (right behind Davenport; off of Mcknight(?)) - and see whom they would recommend - as they are the best quality place in town to get wheels repaired/refinished - I'd put my money on them having a couple recommendations for you.

hahahaha, i totally agree, it seems that the most exp. shops do the crappiest work. lol like the exhaust shop we like. they are one of the cheapest in town and they do quality work. however go to some place here in town that specialize in stuff, and i wouldnt even let them detail the car. hahaha

yeah, I know too many shops with great reps, that I wouldn't let do anything for me...
I will just refrain from using names.
I find that asking from a known good shop which is in a related field (so they would know), or from word of mouth via local car clubs is the best.
I am associated with a couple local car clubs, and have been known to raise $*it on the CDRA website... just ask around;
Getting opinions from people is free - having to get coatings fixed because you realized you went to the wrong shop isn't.

dude that sucks - at least they didn't steal anything of too much value (if I understood you correctly)
My brother had his Caliber broken into (might have been unlocked too) - funny thing is the only missing stuff was some (very) small change, some gum, and some baby formula (which was in a pricey bottle... he suspects it was the vagrant who has been staying at the house down the road (I'd call him homeless except he has a place to go to at night - even though he has a place to stay he seems to be content living the life of a hobo - he doesn't have a job, and just goes around bumming off people)...

Does anyone have a Buddy/ relative with access to a tire machine??
I am getting my summer wheels powder coated and need to remove the tires first... and was just quoted $200 to take them off and to put them back on... (I rofl'd)
Anyways, I can definatley compensate them in some way!

I'd call around.
I have found that Harpers Tire is often reasonable; I am sure there are other tire shops that could do it for around $15 for each dismount/mount ~ really you should be able to get it written up like a change over, or tire bead leak repair - which should even come in cheaper than $15 x 4(tires) x 2(times)...
But that's just my opinion.
I believe that these lower profile tires need more up to date tire machines too...

mounting and dismounting of tires is expensive now days, however that does sound lil high. remember when you are doing this they do have to rebalance the tires after and they will charge for it. it is a bloody rip off what they try to charge us when it comes to tires. i remember the days when you could get r+r job with balance for like $50. lol

and this is why I take my car to Option Import for everything...
$100 total, including re-balance AND they will swap back on my winter rims for me, AND store the tires until my rims are done... stoked.
