well guys (and gal), it was great to have hung out with you all on Saturday, it was very good show;
@soulfyz;
I don't recall reading that you were coming!? ~ it was great to have met you!
re: the show;
I'm glad the Delorean won best of his class (1980's) - if any of you didn't really look at his car, you would have missed how mint/orignal it was (the only non-factory part I saw was the shifter knob)...
I'm bummed the 1932(?) Chevrolet didn't - that car was spectacular, I had a nice talk with the owner, who was all too happy to show some of the work he put into locating parts for it...
The guy who won our claas (2000's; Atilla(?sp)) is a great guy. I know him from the Firebrd club (iirc he sold his Firebird right after I stopped hanging out with the Firebird club, and bought his 'vette) - it's been so long since I've seen him, I truthfully didn't recognize him...
I won't be attending Sammy's S&S, mostly becasue I'm kind of burnt out on car shows;
If I go to/participate in two a year, then that more than enough for me...
These days I'm more interested in spending a weekend wrenching on a car so that I can flog on it at the track... speaking of which, I will be jacking the gran-dam up in the air this evening and start (finally) tackling the exhaust...
Wish me luck on getting it done in time, becasue as much fun as it might be to bring the Cobalt to the track, I really want to se about improving upon last years E/T's in the GA... my goal is 14's, if I need to put a fresh short block in the car to get there, then so be it.
we're also going to need to keep our fingers crossed that the weather is good on the 30th.

Hey guys....just lurking around. On a curious note, has anyone ever seen my old 06 Coby SS/SC around calgary? I have never recieved a call from whomever bought the car even though I left contact info in there in case the new owner wanted some info or the tune files for the car.
Well, I should see some of you at the Chestermere S/S this weekend. Wont be entering but a buddy of mine has his Camero entered so I thought I would stop in to say hi.
Cheers

I see the occasional Cobalt SS/SC & SS/TC that isn't one of the "regulars" here...
The last ones I saw which pop to mind are;
a really nice silver SS/SC that I saw yesterday driven by an old man (honestly looked to be somewhere between 50-60yo) was turning onto westbound 114th right by the casino....
a nice arrival blue SS/SC driven by an older lady (probably roughly 50yo) in Douglas Glen...
a punk bagging on a red SS/SC downtown...
and a black SS/SC parked on fairmount drive (Acadia area)...
I used to see another yellow SS/TC; presumably the one the Jack Carter had (for almost a full year, because they wouldn't budge on the price) I would normally see it around southland & blackfoot ect...
I also think I've seen 'tom.g'(?) three or four times in the past month (in the south normally near Midnapore)...
