where you live most assuredly does play into rates;
for example, roughly ten years ago I moved to Lethbridge (attended LCC), and my rate dropped because of my address change.
my GA is something like $84/month with full coverage;
I was quoted $135/month from statefarm before I bought the cobalt - keeping in mind I added a waiver of depreciation piggyback, but for some reason I am being charged more than my quoted amount plus the nominal piggyback surcharge... ???
must you lie.
You don't want to be teased about keeping your 2.4L;
these guys are talking about SC & TC cars;
cars you are not interested in buying;
2.4L cars don't have any such supporting mods - which is why I've tried to tease you into trading up (I mean a TC car is nearly 100hp more than yours.);
it's not like you would be the first person upside down on their car...
if you doubt it read snakes post from earlier...
toys cost money...

congrats on the sale - hopefully you got what you wanted (I don't recall reading about anything being pulled off the car)

like steve has said lol it is not just about the horsepower lol like ya we all would love to have tjays car lol with 300+ by summer but there is so much fun in just building everything yourself and also once i get my turbo kit in my 2.4 i will be beating stock TCs anyday of the week lol. like ya i would love to trade in my 2.4 but the where is the fun in building up the whole car not to mention the amout of time and effort put into the appearance of the car lol

generally speaking when you start with something better to begin with, you end up with something better in the end...
EDIT
BTW, if anyone knows someone in the market for a car please consider spreading the word about these two which I just listed on Kijiji;
I am thinking of buying an older RWD V8 car for bracket racin and would need both money and some more space...
cheap option: LINK
more expensive option: LINK
(I don't anticipate this one selling)

FWD cars (imho) are good for DD's or cheap fun;
in my books there's only two kinds of cars worth owning;
1) RWD V8; two door, pre-smog/pre-computer preferred
2) FWD I-4; compact coupe, with at least 150hp & a manual transmission
I bought the Cobalt becasue it is a fun DD, with much more potential than the GA-LE...
Actually, I found an old Firebird that I could use for bracket racing, while swapping good parts on to one of the other Firebird's which I currently own...
unfortunately I already have wayyyy too many cars to begin with...
I don't expect anyone to buy the 'LE' (I actually have more parts coming for it shortly), but I figured posting it up wouldn't hurt...

I thought you were a GM-guy?
How in the world is a late model Accord any better than a late model (lightweight; before they became bigger & bulkier) 180hp Grand Am??
It's about the same size as your old Sunfire, but with an additional 60hp in stock form...
(fyi, they only made those 180hp motors from 1990 through 1992, and by 1992 the cars were all larger & heavier, then after 1993 they started de-tuning the engines.)
Also, these engines are most common in Beretta GTZ's... which are also bigger & heavier than the Pontiac Grand Am's & much rarer (in Canada) Oldsmobile Calias's...
btw, I edited my initial post to hopefully remove any confusion.
