http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/CAAB0049

with only a chance of thundershowers, and a total of less than 1mm of rain (@ 30% pop) I'd not worry about it...
last night they were calling for 26 tomorrow - now they're calling for 28... looks to be a nice day!!

here's what the weather office is calling for;
Sunny with cloudy periods. 30 percent chance of showers in the afternoon with risk of a thunderstorm. Wind south 20 km/h becoming light in the afternoon. High 26.
http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/..._metric_e.html

sounds good to me!!

EDIT:

wow - here's a neat ad!!

I didn't even know any '09 4 door SS's were in town!

Race City sounds good tomorrow. Hopefully this time Ill actually be able to shift into second. sad that even with a miss shift I was still hitting 98mph trap speed. What time are people showing up? Are people meeting up before hand to cruise there together?

Ya, stay away from Carter. How the hell they manage to stay in business is beyond me...

Good luck to you. all that work and money with a different mani, tb and trifecta, it's still a base model built for teenage girls and grandma.

Kris, he probably kept up with you because an auto removes all driver error. as per Trav's comment below, with hd/dp on the car, you will get moving quicker, but might not be a bad idea to look at the afr / timing maps on the car. if you're opening up the rear, more timing advance is possible.

Dude are you trying to make fun of me? keep saying all you want about a car for teenagers and grandmas. Oh an rentals.

I was trying to make a point that with the right mods a 2.2 can beat a 2.4 so it looks like i am close. ya i will have to put more money into it then a 2.4 will, but honestly that is half the fun.

Definitely wish you luck dude. just seems like a lot of work to put into a base model, trust me, I've seen just how much it takes to soup an sc, its gonna be a hell of a lot harder with na, especially with no custom tuning control.

It would be wicked to see you prove me wrong. Hell, I met a guy in the SoCal crew with a turbo'd 2.2, and I was impressed. It Can Be done.

yee-ouch!!

Pickles, I think you forgot something very important;

all these cars are marketed towards old women & teen aged girls...
the last several SS/TC's I's seen were either driven by someone like us, or an older (as in well past 40yo) woman...
btw, have you not caught the recent bit if family plus discount tv spots?
if you have, there a re teen aged girls excited in a a new SS/TC...

I'll give Graham props for having fun with a car he could afford - and from what I've seen he's already done more to his car than most SS owners do...
(I think he's done more than I plan to do)

If his car wasn't so new I'd be all over trying to help him do THIS
...but since his car has VVT all we can do is figure out if there is anything else he can do...
(regrettably, it seems to me that cam swaps is quickly becoming a think of the past)

honestly guys it was the best racing at the track all night... even sammy and the boys were getting into those 2 clowns duking it out lol.... they were honestly side by side all night. i truely hope to see the grudge match soon... sometimes it isnt about pure speed. sometimes it is about taking out a bigger motor... i usually feel pretty damn good if i beat a v8 or 6!!!!
