Ok guys, I'm in a dilemma here. Long story short, got in an accident over 5 weeks ago. Car is finally finished at bodyshop but they sent my wheel out and it's still not done. Where my dilemma lies is I have to go back to sask this weekend and the only preventing me from going is the wheel, if it's not done on time. I'm just wondering if there is anyone on here with a full size spare I could buy or borrow for the weekend if worst case scenerio, my wheel isn't done by friday. Thanks!

winter tires can help a bit - but only if they're worn, I've heard that if hte tread is too deep/aggressive, that it can negate any added traction becasue the rubber will flake off (rather than burn off).
I ran winters at Race city - but only because I didn't want to further wear my Continentals ~ and I had Nathan's worn winters on hand...

this is some good discussion...
I know as a general rule of thumb, if possible, you want to run a tire which has more sidewall than a typical 18/19" ~ as this allows the tire to flex & aids in traction...
(at least that's how I've understood it)

i say it is a combination of the two, tire width and sidewall hieght.... specially rim weight!!!! i bet if he ran 20-25 lbs in his factory summer tires he would get the traction he needs to beat kris... hahahaha nice anyway is everyone going????? i wanna see a rematch.... kris and graham... the only difference is graham runs his factory summers...
