outside of this thread there are many trouble makers here who like to look for reasons to flame... but in here it's pretty good;
this is undoubtedly the best forum/thread I've ever come across that is all Albertians/Calgarians...
Mark, thanks for the invite, and the great food!!
Just call me at work when you get the DP, and we'll take it from there.
Well guys, I had to duck out from Mark's place at just after 8pm(iirc) - I had to go home in leau of the threat of snow;
I have had the outer layer of windows off the front of my house all summer, but with the threat of snow, I needed to get them back on... and thankfully I finished about half of an hour ago...

mark the food was freakin good i dont think i could have ate anymore lol thanks so much i know ashley and her brother and sister enjoyed it as well
Speaking of that, Kasper's comment. I just need a little help guys preferably someone with electrical experience. So I decided to put a tachometer (rpm gauge) and a water temp gauge. Please don't make fun of me for deciding to put these gauges on my car, I have my reason. I know the car already has an rpm gauge and a digital engine coolant gauge.
Anyways, I have the tachometer hooked up to one of the wires on my coilpack but it's only reading half the rpm. I research this on the internet and someone was saying to put a resistor in it. I went to radio shack and got a resistor and tried this and still didn't work.
Also the water temp gauge, I can't seem to figure out where to put this temp sensor too. I even went to Auto Value and the guy there didn't know either. But gave me pics to locate the stock engine coolant temp sensor. I also research this on the net, and someone was saying to splice into the stock temp sensor until you get a signal. Is this a good idea because I also read this on the net. That this will give you CEL and I don't want to **** up anything on my car. Since this is my only mode of transportation. Also read that if you cut on top of your radiator hose put a adapter (new temp sensor) and clamp it on both sides would work. But also read that this will give you a leak.
Any help would be appreciated guys, only 1 wire left for each gauge. And everything else is working fine. Thanks
P.S. Sorry for the late comment, can't sleep.

Hey guys, I just figured I'd post up here asking for help.
I am trying to compile full SS/Sport production numbers with breakdowns by model year as well as model year/colour
eg:
2007 SS/SC total
2007 SS/SC all colours
2007 SS/2.4 coupe total
2007 SS/2.4 coupe all colours
2007 SS/2.4 sedan total
2007 SS/2.4 sedan all colours
LINK
if your model or colour doesn't have a bolded number behind it, can you please email me (via link in my profile) your vin?
Thanks!

@superman
come on spill the beans - why are you adding two redundant gauges?!?
just for show?
aftermarket tack w/shift light??
If I were to add any gauge, it would be an oil pressure gauge - one of the more important factors for an engine, but one that is curiously lacking on our cars... not even the RPD shows this...

welcome here!!
yeah it seems like the Lethbridge guys occasionally post here too - the more the merrier.
maybe if Race Ctiy goes to the crapper, you can be our "inside guy" keeping us up to date on MHDRA!

one thing that is sure though, we have one more year, then if the city doesn't back motorposrts, we're screwed...
(apparently zoning for a track is alot tougher than most think)
our next closest tracs are either MHDRA, or Castrol;
MHDRA: 2300ft
Castrol: 2210ft
Race City: 3380ft

with the sole mayoral candidate who clearly would have backed RC comming in 2nd place, things are unsure over here...

I tried to get a whole bunch of up to meet up at Race City earlier this year, and I think I had a list of like twenty people who said they were coming;
Less than ten showed up.
