Justin, just browsing on that site, nice looking rims very unique, if you do end up with them, bring them to the shop let me put them on, I like working on all the custom rims

Graham, i've seen a 'Balt with 22's, it can be done, doesn't look too good though. That's just my opinion though
Thanks man! I agree, and I think that's why I like them so much. Many of the wheels I see are more of the same flashy ghetto junk that I would not put on a Cobalt, or something that would be better suited for a truck. I like quite a few of the designs but few I would feel comfortable showing off on my own car. If I decide to go with these, I'm sure I'll let you guys know. If I do, it won't be for awhile tho. lol

Also, I've just LIKEd Secret Street on FB, making it 222 People Like This!

nothing quite like rolling into work...

a couple minutes late...

at the same time as the assistant manager...

having the operations manager (my manager, and assistant manager's boss) waiting...

gives me a dirty look, but can't say anything to me because I walked in at the exact same time as one of my bosses...

work politics can kiss my as$

That's great timing! ... For being late that is. Of course your regional manager could have ragged both of you, but I'm guessing he didn't because of being out numbered lol.

As I sit through my lunch break and gaze out the window, a certain recognizable tune comes to mind...

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..."

I think that if we did more than just going to race city, and standing around in a staples parking lot watching luser rice-douchebags peel tires and rev engines, some more of us might come out more often...

I'm game...

I've tried to arrange a bunch of us get together at BP's... but seeing how this is a more or less completely informal group of car enthusiasts, I didn't know what elses to suggest.

But I know and agree with what you're getting at...

Mark also invited everyone this past sunday to his place...

What would people here be up to stuff like bowling or movie nights?

My place is not setup for movie nights, but if I had a bbq, I'd invite everyone over to use it, or do a games night... but I don't currently have a BBQ...

I know the car club I'm currently in does lots of cruising around town (or to touristy areas), as well as the odd S&S, garage tours, games nights, movie nights, bowling...

Race city can be fun - even if you don't race, but everything gets old after a while.

One thing the car club is talking about doing is having their own slalom course event at a parking lot they've been offered - if they did it, they would have it put on by the RCMP...
that would be one way for me to get into that - otherwise I'm not into that scene...

I'd be down for anything, my problem is just making it out in the summer cause my schedule is retardedly busy with work and lacrosse.. BP's would be a good time. A cruise out somewhere would be fun as well. Whatever is decided and planned i'd be fine with

well i am bit set up better for movies, i am down for bowling and cruises... a trip to the hat or edm would be cool... but so would banff and jasper... even radium, hotsprings and go karts.... lets also remember i know people in tunnel mountain resort... maybe i can see if we can get a deal.... camping is also a good time.... saskatoon would be a good weekend... i know we probally have another diner sometime in the future... just for css.net members... i think maybe if people have some ideas just let everyone one know.... never know what we will think or say.... i also think we should have a meet at least once a month even during winter... maybe we should consider a christmas party or something... or even new years...

next summer i will hae a couple bbq's with a fire afterwards, i do enjoy bulshitting with everyone so will be good, can also use the garage and help some people with installs. Anyone who want to help out with and engine build can swing by over the winter to. Going to be a fun winter, and an even better spring.

Aside from road trips, I'm up for bowling. I'm not terribly good, but I enjoy it!

Anyone thought of fundraisers for a charity?

I just installed my sportlines about a month ago, looks amazing. A little rough on bumps but I kinda expected that. I was looking into the RKSport kit but Graham pointed out that it doesn't have foglights, thanks Graham, so now i'm not sure anymore what I want anymore

Nice man, did you install it yourself (is it pretty tough to install) or did you take it to the shop and get it professionally done (and how much did it cost, jw). I haven't decided if I should put them on or wait until next spring. I don't feel like snow plowing anything with my car lol.

ok where do i start.... kris if mine shows up by friday i am down for a install night again, tjay love the idea of bbq and fires, also wouldnt mind checking out this build you have... sask delta, no worries buddy anytime it was a good time... superman, if you want help to dry fit and final install of that body kit i will help you... same goes for crazynewf.... justin, i actually think you may have a good idea... lets not throw this one out jonathan.... see i know nick would allow us to host a car show here at the shop area, if we wanted.... then we could do as like the rest of the clubs and all proceeds go to charity... i also know a band who would donate thier time for charity too... so with some planning we could do a charity event... it could put us as cobalt owners, more respected in the community... i also have special interests in this idea coz of my son and the lack of funding in the world to his problems... if anyone doesnt know my son is autistic, and i believe it is a worth while charity to be donating too... it is something i have been debating about for a long time now... and finally graham hahahah buddy... with the conversations you have had with me lately i am surprised you would send out a body kit job to someone else????? wtf!!!!! lol

on a side note i installed a dual air intake system on a crossfire yesterday... that was a cool job... today will be fog lights... this crossfire is quickly becoming one of my fav.. crossfires i have ever seen!!!!!!

jeeze - watch tv much?

I stopped reading partway through that link, because I stopped caring - that's too in depth for a tv series script.
