congrats!

one of my little qualms with our cars (or at least mine) is the fact that you cannot feel where the clutch starts & stops engagement... every other car I've had or driven, you could feel where the points were in your clutch pedal travel...
I know this is why I occasionally goober a shift... I don't exactly granny shift the car too often... I mean, where's the fun in that!?!

@ Jr;

What I'm talking about would actually be the complete elimination of the infamout "missed 2nd shift" - on every other car I had you could push the limits, but you could clearly feel the point where your pedal was actuating the clutch...
All I'm saying is that the pedal feels no different (to me) from right up top till fully depressed...

I'm used to it, but it did take an adjustment period for me.

...

actually a thought just occurred to me;

@ CalgaryBalt;

Does the new clutch have a different pedal feel?
>>Can you feel where it starts & stops engagement??

when i goober my shift to second i believe i am trying to force to much with too much gas going into releasing the clutch.... i think honestly it can be improved but really is there such a perfect clutch out there?

sure there is;

just about everything Detroit cranked out from about 1964-1974 that was behind a 300+hp V8

yup, I'm biased;
I like the mechanical linkage, because if you take the time to fine tune a musclcar's shifter setup, often it's bullet proof...
I believe the cables tat all cars of late have are the culprit behind shifting issues, the cables bind/ flex/ move... and it doesn't take much for it to be screwed up...
but critics these days wouldn't like those setup's they complain about a "notchy" feeling shifter ~ crap, what they call notchy, I call solid.

I was surprised that the mall wasn't that bad...

Yeah that trickery on the bottom of your rear bumper got me, hook, line, and sinker.

was that contrived between you & mark?
-I instinctively look (when at a distance from any CSS) at the rea lower bumper - passenger side;
I saw grille type material there, and (probably becasue I was driving) didn't look any further...

after you turned off to park, I saw a silver SS/na leaving the parking lot, then a blue SS/SC coming in off McLeod, then another SS/na after paying my insurance...
That was (besides my car of course) four CSS's whith in a couple minutes...

got part of a gift done... but I think I'm going to head up to rocket(?; on 17th) thursday...

then I got to wrap...

here's three sources which cite the same info (no lobe centerline, and no installed 'straight up' info - and it's all in metric.);

Ya the Clutch is alot heavier then the stock one, and has a good feel to it, Its just very surprising when it engages as you are expecting a dinky little engagment like on the stock but BANG it grabs really hard.
