down boy, down. mark we're not giving ya **** (atleast i'm not) i've had my share of bad gas, hell some of mine were from petro stations. its just the way it goes. really the only way to know is to try. there's only 5 gas stations in calgary that i know for sure maintain their tanks and one of them is a "cheaper" gas station called centex by my house. other then that its petro's for me and very few to be exact.
i know steve i just dont like stupid responses to a a statement where all i was trying to do was make sure that none of my friends make the same mistake... how about instead of making a smart ass comment, how about asking what the car is doing to help me fix it.... like you have helped me today... which i really appreciate... thx... lets just hope it will take care of the issue.... it was truely the last thing i need right now...

ya steve i am just going to replace anything and everything i can... plugs, fuel filter, so on so on.... til it is better.... the one thing i can honestly say about this experience is that nobody knows how frustrating it is when you dont have a clue whats going wrong.... sat when i filled up my car never ran better, by sunday morn and maybe 20km later it is drunk pos.... leaves you scratch your head.... saying wtf!!!!
dont worry jon i know.... i am just in a foul mood lately.... i had to do something really personal to be able to survive.... i am very lucky to still be a cobalt owner... honestly it will get alot better for me soon, however right now i am in a bit of a bind.... if this had happened even 2-3 weeks from now i wouldnt even care.... but murphy's law states i must suffer.....

like old NGK's
hmm... found this;
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/3063072-post5.html
then this;
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l...1/#post5494178
(I think post #10 says alot)
I saw Delco 41-106's were listed on Rockauto, and on NGK's site they list the IFR6V-10G as the SR plug...
I was figuring that since neither I or anyone who knows Mark has access to a Tech2, that a fuel filter is a good place to start... and with his mileage, it wouldn't hurt to do anyway...

np mark and i got your pm and will look into those things for ya. also i know the feeling. remember a few months ago when my idle was all messed up and nobody knew what the hell was going on but yet i was blamed for the problem and it turned out to be a computer glitch. man did i get a good laugh out of that when i figured it out. 5 tech's and a mechanical engineer couldn't figure it out.

How is your guys dash/door handle paint holding up? Mine is awful, so I picked up some paint that seems extremely close to the stock satin nickel. Hopefully it is a bit more durable.
This car is going to be like a brand new one by the time is back running again .

your better off picking a color you like and redoing all the trim properly (that is if you want to change the color scheme a bit)
