I want either TC or Polished stockers, mine are gunmetal .

Trying to find TC wheels is a challenge in Canada though, I imagine getting polished stock ones would be pretty cheap. You going to sell yours?

@ Acey;
those wheels are cool!

I have NEVER seen them in person, an'd I'm sure most anyone would trade you polished LSJ wheels in a heartbeat ~ those SPO Cobalt SS wheels look nice, and you won't have to worry about anyone else running them... the only downside is if you doe curb damage to them.

Even though I don't date much, it doesn't mean I'm ignorant to the pitfalls that people commonly find themselves in.

That I was. It was very well said and I agree 95%. it's alot harder to see the wrong in a relationship when you have an emotional attachment.

My license was expired and I didn't even know it. Yay. Cop was as nice as he could possibly be though, but still $177 for 110 in an 80 on Crowsnest, I legit thought the limit was 100 there... then $230 for driving while expired, that combined with my ticket 2 weeks ago and one I got last year which I didn't even know counted for demerits = suspended for 30 days. FAIL!

Damn acey. Get ur **** together lol. When does the suspension start? Like today or after the court date for the ticket.

I dont plan on selling the stockers. If I can afford winter tires for them I might go that route instead of my ugly steelies lol

I dunno when it starts, I gotta get this all sorted out. It's a holiday so I need to wait till tomorrow to get my license renewed. It's the speeding ticket that put me over, license expiry is unrelated. I think if take the GDL test and get my limit upped to 15 demerits before I pay the tickets, then I might not be suspended. Not sure how it works.

Every time I get pulled over I'm tempted to just pin it and take the LE5 to its limit. I'd be child's play for a Crown Vic but what an adrenaline rush that would be. a

i'm kinda in the same situation. just can't afford the $500 in tickets right now so i can take my test to get my full license. got 1 demerit left, i'm gonna take the defensive driving course to bring that down a lil bit.

Only became eligible this year. Until Feb 3 I had 0 demerits so I wasn't really worried about. If the demerits don't apply till you pay, then I am at 3. If they do, then I'm 9... i.e. suspended.

saw a guy running from the cops today. it didnt turn out well for him. one squad car ran him off the road into a parking lot where another one was waiting and went infront of him causing him to stop. a third was behind him so he couldnt go anywhere. the light then turned green so i had to go but it was awesome

If you need money for tickets, I'm liking the looks of those rims Acey .

Sucks though man, hopefully they don't count until later on. Did you get caught by traffic (Ghost car) or patrol?

I don't know where he came from, it was pretty early in the morning and it was westbound Crowsnest right where it merges with 5 Ave N. I was flying down the hill then he came out of nowhere, not sure if he came off 5 Ave or had been following me for a ways down Crowsnest. He got right behind me but didn't light me up until I got way on the other side of the bridge so for a minute I thought I was in the clear.

A detector wouldn't have helped me here, on the ticket it says it's an estimate anyway, not complaining cause we both know I was going waaaay faster. Real problem is RCMP's lasers... not much I can do about those. That's how they got me a few weeks ago.

I'm contemplating selling my high rise, though. Brand new, summit white... if I keep it I know I'm gonna eventually get it painted and put it on. I probably shouldn't put something else on the car that will attract cops.

That sucks man, I get that urge to take off too lol. I was kind of in the same situation with the demerits/license loss and as far as I was told, it depends on which paperwork gets to their head office first, the tickets or the defensive drivers/getting off GDL. In my case the ticket got there first and I got the suspension. If worst comes to worst you can always get a restricted drivers license that lets you only go to school or work or w/e.

Off topic, but I found the other half of my winshield washer nozzle underneath my Vent Shroud on my car. It's been gone since before I bought my car, I wonder how long its been there. Glued it back together and Voila, will have my wipers back!
