Well I have heard of people putting adds on kijiji about parts for cobalts just to see who will reply.
I heard one guy had some weird perofrmance part for the cobalt and his buddy replied to it. The guy thought and still thinks it was the funniest thing ever. Not cool for a friend to do to another friend

Tie was the guy who I liked (and I understood you didn't like);
I think Mike(? or what's-his-nutz) was the second in charge under Tie, and became the service manager after Tie left;
What's-his-nutz brushed me off over <$30 (@ full retail ) in parts citing that an observed scuff on my sub (that I wiped off btw) was the cause for my sub mounting hardware to break - not the fact that it wasn't installed correctly at the factory...
When that was my first issue, and it was over virtually chump-change, and would have been able to be billed to GM for faulty assembly - yet I was virtually flipped the bird, that was enough for me to not be interested in coming back.
Can you tell me the name of the new service manager?
If this is the case, I'd love to talk to the new guy...
I have been going to Jack Carter mostly because they're close, but I'd also like to at least install an aftermarket DP (maybe even catless), and I know JC will not honor any of my warranty if I brought it there with that... even though I got lip service this past week that would contradict this...
you really might be surprised what some people think parts are worth...

1) you're a minor, you live under your parent's roof; you don't know how good you got it...
2) your parents bought you a (virtually) new car, and (probably) pay your insurance - again I say; you don't know how good you got it...
suck it up
driving does suck right now - and it's just too cold...
stay home...
stay warm...
watch some star trek, and be just like me

i know that i dont have to pay bills, or rent or anything i just wish my mom would let me do whatever i wanted to a degree. like i would like just to be able to go out and do what i want when i want. as for point 2, they paid 3k (they paid 3k for my brothers too) and i have to pay the rest plus winter tires. i ended up having to pay 1900 including the tires. its been 5 months and ive got it down to 1400 lol. but i spend alot of money on food and small things like that and they add up. not to mention gas prices aren't helping either

I try to cut out buying fast food, it's more money for my car/schooling. Going to mcdicks 5 times in a month is pretty much costing the same as a tank of gas depending on how much you can pack away (building houses works up an appetite for me ).
Don't nickel and dime yourself into debt.

Mcdicks twice is at least $10 and subway for a meal is another $10.
Now we have $20. A Michelna lasagna is currently on sale for $0.87 at my local Superstore. You could have had a month of lunches for the price of those three meals. Or have those three meals for under $3 (with tax!). And thats just an example. Buying some of your own food is even cheaper than eating out.
We've now (hypothetically) saved $17 or 6% (Yes that much) of your entire monthly income.
(Damn, after calculating this out for myself I'm going to start kicking myself in the ass not to do it either).
Not trying to come off as an ass, just some helpful advice from someone who is not much older than you living on their own (by choice of course.)
