frankly I had found in the past that the single dealer repeatedly offering the best prices on parts;
Jack Carter. seriously.
no harm in getting part numbers and calling a couple dealers though.

there will officially be no such thing as any Pontiac dealerships any time now...
Canada held out, having Pontiac's for the 2010 model year...
GM, is GM, they will service all their makes/models.

if you chose a Pontiac Dealership, you also had the option to get GMC (trucks) & Buick added to your dealership for a negligible franchise fee increase (iirc);
if you chose a Chevrolet dealerships you got Chevy cars & trucks, as well as the option of Oldsmobile for a marginal franchise fee change; but having a Chevy dealership allowed you to get also be a Cadillac dealer (there were limitations to this though)...
I saw the writing on the wall in the early 2000's when "GM" badges started showing up on GM cars & trucks...
I find it sad really...
but back to the original question, you can order any GM parts from any GM dealer - all you need are the part number(s);
most idiots at dealers these days only know how to look up parts according to your car (via the vin) so if you have the part number handy you will save yourself frustration...

This. Took me about 20 minutes at Murray to order rear lip grilles because the part number obviously wasn't showing up for my 2.4. I walked outside, got the VIN off a used LSJ, and told her I gave her the wrong one before. That's the only way she would do it.

Some people are just dumb. It's almost like if you don't have the part number they can't help you because they are too stupid to figure how how to look up the part without the part number.

I had the part number and gave it to her first thing, but then asked for me vin and I gave it to her, not realizing she was gonna be a **** about it.

Just made a 1pm appointment for a sit down with the service manager, and shop foreman to go over my service here, to clarify what exactly went down, versus what might still be done, versus current SES codes...
I'm game for meeting up tomorrow @ 7:30...

Bumped my front lip on a curb parking at work today. Cracked it a bit and took off some paint. Pretty choked, looks like "Evo Mod" is the next thing being done to my car .
