so did they.
it seems as though the shop foreman figured the tech missed something, or did something wrong, which is why they preferred to keep the car than let it go, and chance burning out the cat at their cost...
well, I got to drive it last night, and this morning... I'm ok though, I am figuring I should have it back monday or tuesday...
I'd call that a good call
good move on opting to do the MAF yourself.
what mileage are you at?
if you're like the LSJ/LNF, you run an iridium plug which is rated for something like 100k km's - so you shouldn't need to change them.
we did change out Mark's original NGK's, for the correct service replacement Delco's, stock gap, verified by myself.

Have u been idling your car in the driveway to warm it up??? That wastes a good amount of gas... Also y r u using 91. Aren't u driving a g5? Just use 87.
On a positive note my insurance has just dropped to $158 bucks a month! Sweet.

Diabetic, coming from a kidded 2.4 87 is better to run in the winter and when the temps get warmer in the summer switch to 91. Works great and no misfires

got anymore info on the theory? What do u mean by "better"? Better in performance or gas mileage?. When i first got my SCT Tuner for the truck, i was running 91 octane and i was getting 26L/100km. Loaded on my fuel economy tune, kept the 91 in there, i got to 19.9. Then switched to 87 octane and its at 27L/100KM...that was all in the winter as well.
