I'm still pretty optimistic at this point, car was making horrible noises but all the gears were fine, didn't even throw a CEL, and didn't actual drive any differently. So maybe that's a good thing.

looks good steve, im not a fan of the shiny dash and door panels, i find it blinds me.

i might steam clean mine today, with adjusting my e-brake (i can move my car without giving it any gas, its that bad) and polishing my tails from painting last weekend, and im undecided on throwing my 4th gens in, with my hid kit coming this week and the rocks still being on the road

its really not that bad when your driving, and ya definitely adjust that ebrake.

like when im driving i know in the back of my mind "if my brakes fail, there is no point in trying to pull the ebrake, as it will do absolutely nothing." and i could focus on steering my way out more. but thats #1 on my things to do

ya its pretty easy to do, first i would do this. with the car parked and ebrake not engaged look at the rear calipers and the part looks like a big spring will have an arm on it, the arm should be completely down on both sides. if its not then you have a caliper issue as well. if both look fine then continue with the adjusting of the ebrake from inside.

well figured its easy to check that to make sure there isn't any other issues before you go tearing your interior apart. also another way to tell if your calipers have a faulty ebrake mechanism is pull the rear cup holder and one of the cables will be longer then the other because its not fully disengaged.

you should be alright with all that, i would check your rear pads to make sure they are still good. pads that are low on material can cause a weak ebrake as well. mine were pretty much done at 102k.

ya they are on the low end, at that point i would recommend replacing them, others would say they can go for a while longer and technically they can but i personally recommend replacing them. but thats up to you. other then that you can start adjusting the ebrake at your leisure.
