oh i know, and alot of it is scare tactics in the middle east. easiest way to get oil prices to go up is start a rumor that their is a shortage lol. honestly i still drive just as much as i did when gas was cheaper, i just stopped looking at how much it is when i pump. i just hit 91 and start pumping lol.

Yup just hit 91 and fill it up. I need the gas so I will pay whatever it costs. I just don't feel bad when I pay because my grandpa gives me $20 a week for gas

In camrose gas is 114.9 for regular and 124.9 for 91. The big city living is why gas is so high. It's cuz they can

yeah typically this has been the trend for (pump) fuel prices for hte last fifteen or so years;
oil price goes up = fuel price goes up
oil price goes up = fuel price goes up; but they try to justify it with some BS like oh manufacturing costs went up.

IMHO, the big companies are just sticking it to the little guy because they know they can get away with it...

Considering we (as Canada) sell more than we buy(iirc);
there is no reason why our prices should always be high...

Safeway. Durrr. Their posted price is usually 2.5 cents higher than others but with their 5 cents off thing it ends up being 2.5 cents less than others.

fyi:
USA gas prices are always lower than Canada... but really what isn't?

So I met up last night with SuperSlow (or was it SuperSafe? )

I know that some of us met him the one time at race city last year, but I don't recall him being able to visit much...
I had a nice time talking with him...
More of you should have made it out.
(meeting arranged via FB group btw)

so anyone have a recommended/cheap place for dismounting/mounting/balencing tires?

I used to drop stuff off at the Wal-Mart service center @ 130th; but they removed the service center on their recent renovation...

If no one has any suggestions, I think I might have some plans for another walmart for first thing on saturday morning...

I had my tires unmounted and remounted at fountain tire for like around or just under 60 bucks with balancing and chrome valve stems. But not nitrogen... But I rode in on my winter wheels and tires so they didn't have to take my wheels off the car since i was getting the summer tires changed

i cant use petro cans gas, my car knocks like a bitch with running pc gas, not sure why but it always does. Soon as i put shell or esso in its fine, may have been a couple of remote incidents but ever since i had it happen i dont go back anymnore.

Good new is my car must have seated the bad seal or somehting as it doesnt seem to be having any oil issue anymore, a little puff on start up but could be just a slight leak on the one valve seal. nothing im tearing the car down for as i know valves and rings are fine.

ya there's only about 4 petro's in calgary i actually go to, all the others cause my car to knock, i'm assuming its because they don't take care of their tanks and probably have either bad gas or some water in their tanks.

Thanks to Joel's ScanGuage, my CEL was MAF Circuit Low Input, sensor is probably dirty because of Murray's little oil explosion under my hood. Good to go, finally!

Yeah. Still haven't decided on the cruise. Give it a little longer to see if anything else is gonna go wrong.
