Yep.
I don't agree with you Jordan;
I understand that Adrian feels bothered by this, but when the real culprit is found, this will have been a steal of a deal... Like I said earlier, most 2.4L cars are still listed for around 10k w/o any mods... and Adrian's is a REALLY nice looking car, with tasteful mods done to it.

check and advise for CEL, p0102 for low frequency on MAF sensor, inspect and check data on scan tool and road test found sensor is not reading anything intermittently check fuses are ok test power and ground at sensor is ok test sensor signal wire from sensor to pcm found is open trace harness and found wires broken inside insulation repair wire that was damaged and recheck found mass air flow sensor is reading correctly now - warranty
Meaning, last Thursday I got a new sensor for no reason because they blamed me for wrecking the stock one because of my K&N filter.

Jonathan, I agree with what you said, but maybe his car still hasn't been fixed properly yet. The issue could still be there. Only time can tell.
But still having warranty for a while is a big bonus too.

See that write up shows that someone actually chased the problem down instead of just relying on the OBD to do all the work (eg: blaming your K&N for wrecking the original MAF)
Is he buying it with the GMPP wheels?
Congrats and or good-luck! (depending on when you read this)

For all we know your car had a bunch of unsolved issues before it was stolen - and maybe over the course of it getting repaired, the glitches were fixed...
99% of techs rely upon on board diagnostics, and do not take it any further - which is evident by Adrian bringing that car in for a service engine code, then only moments after picking it up, another (or hte same) code pops up;
that tells me the REAL problem(s) were never fully traced.
The difference between a run of the mill tech, and a good one, is their ability to properly diagnose, and repair issues...
Something that admittedly, is a weak spot for me.

did you change the ad? ~ if not' you might screw yourself out of a sale...
(when I read the add the car was something like <9k with the wheels & tires...
so what's this about Joel selling his car?? ~ what have I missed here??
Joel, did grenading a CV scare you out of messing with your SS/SC?
EDIT: I just saw all the posts I missed - and that you updated your pricing - that's a much better starting point.
I use KBB.com for non-collector cars (iirc you used zip 59417 (Shelby MT) for AB values)
I use nadaguides for collector cars.
Both are really good for what they are, and seem to move with the economy, and actual market values...
I still don't see where this started being at all about Joel selling his car...

Yeah... I was talking to Joel about selling mine and hadn't yet decided if I wanted another Cobalt or not, he jokingly suggested I buy his then I decided it wouldn't be a bad idea.
And also thanks Will, I used your pics in my Kijiji listing. The guy asked how much it cost to have professional photos taken.

wait a second... you linked the add with you being signed in;
(Was that you Will??)
I just changed it to $9,800... you might want to make a new listing, and not link the add with you being signed in

I didn't do anything? I'm quite confused how we could edit prices. I actually didn't even cluck his link but I searched for it on kijiji since I'm at work using my phone for CSS.net and the computer for kijiji

hmm, well someone used the link posted earlier here and changed the price...
@ Adrian; I'll remove your link from the quote earlier ~ I'd suggest you remove the old link too...
It is possible that someone saved that old link - which would give them access to editing your ad - in which case a new add will be required.
I picked 9800 as the price becasue I believe that was around where I observed it to be earlier this afternoon.
FYI: Your post is #18,396 - on page 736.

I've been eyeing up this one 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS TURBO COUPE Coupe - Calgary Cars For Sale - Kijiji Calgary Canada..
RPD, LSD, Sunroof etc. Completely stock (don't worry, not for long ).
I liked this one till I saw custom tune. 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS TURBO Coupe - Calgary Cars For Sale - Kijiji Calgary Canada.
I want to get GMS1 to retain warranty for a bit.
Joel
P.S. whoever edited Adrian's ad to read $3000 is a dink.

lol my fault for posting the link. It's all good now. Had one of those scam companies call me and say that for a free they could help me sell my car. Asked for my credit card number. I said this...
Then hung up.
Damn that vic red LNF is so sexy... if you can afford that it would be KILLER. I've seen a silver LNF with high rise and tint in Lethbridge twice, wonder if it was that one.

That .gif is hilarious!
I like the red one, but like I said. I'd like to retain warranty for a bit at least. Cool car for sure though. I like the colour, silver is just... silver to me. If that makes sense haha. I like things bright.
I should just get whatever colour you want and we'll swap all the body panels .
