You could be correct. I'm pretty sure it ends the 17th. If it is for this weekend tho. The problem isnt pricing its finding a room. I tried finding a hotel room once during Stampede I swear it's impossible.

My trans completely went. Spent hours trying to figure out why no gear would engage at all. In the end I had no choice but to take it to the dealer. Broken roll pin is all... but in true stealership form, it's $318 to fix it. Obviously I thought it was something far worse than a roll pin... and I need a car to get to work.
"Oh yeah, the bolts on your supercharger pulley are loose, we can fix that for another $140."
No, thanks.

Pin must have already been stretched, second engaged probably only half the time. I must have completely broken it and also something else that they're not telling me, cause the car can barely be driven. Since warranty is not a factor I haven't a clue why I took it back to the same dealer that screwed me before, or why it costs $300 for what has to be less than an hour of work.

Yeah but they haven't fixed it, and my bill is still at $300+ so far. They said they don't have one, and it would be $45 to get one shipped ASAP but I still wouldn't get it before Monday. Then she said that they need to the part to put the car back together, which screws me further because my plan was to just tell them to leave my car in the parking lot and I'll change the damn roll pin myself. So I'm thinking I'm going to out over $500 for a roll pin today, and miss work all weekend cause these ******** won't give me the car back.

that does seem a little strange, why don't you just go and buy the roll pin for like $10 at a parts store, take it to them and say here install this and give me back my car.

Well that's the next thing to do, but she specifically says the diagnosis part was $318, so by my math even if I give them a roll pin it's going to be at least $200 more to put it in.

shouldn't be as they should have called you after the first hour to get your authorization to proceed with further diagnosis because by GM's book the tech only gets paid an hour for diagnosis, so why they are charging you for something you didn't authorize is beyond me. as well that does sound more like the complete labour for the whole thing then just the diagnosis.
i would speak with the service manager or even the GM if the service manager is no help and explain whats going on. calmly as getting angry won't do you any good.

Pretty sure there is some criminal **** going on at these two Lethbridge dealerships, I was kinda shielded from it by my warranty before. But now it's open season.

Umm it's an '06 and has a ZZP ecu in it.
$45 for a new roll pin (in addition to whatever else they're going to rape me with) or I bring in my own and there's "no guarantees". Which is bullshit obviously, there's no guarantees on the **** she claims won't get here till Monday. Do they have these at NAPA?
