Jon are we able to met up and redo the case relearn. I don't think the engine was hot enough when we did it. Car drove a bit differently after we did the case relearn tonight.

Meet up tomorrow that is. Since I'm still in Calgary.

So I was getting around 24-28 mpg while doing 150 on highway 2 and 16 to Lloydminster. The header must have helped with something because it's boggling my mind! Lol

That's brutal. I was doing 135-140 on highway 2 from Calgary to red deer and I was getting 41-43 mpg.

I think your dic is screwed up man. I've never seen higher than 32 mpg or lower than 7.0L/100 km's in my car

I do have 60's on my car so I can definitely see it being wrong lol.

But at the same time I always try to draft behind a big truck. And I was doing that today

Ya I'd rather spend extra in gas than possibly getting a rock from the truck in my grill or windshield

I've read about drafting. Apparently it increases the big rigs mileage too due to a high pressure zone in between the vehicles. Physics is weird. Gotta get pretty close though haha.

Lol oh mark!

On a side note 5th gear has decided that it does not want to stay engaged. Keeps popping out with any little load from the engine. Any ideas what it could be? I'm thinking synchros.

And every other gear works just fine

before it gets bad you might want to see if the shifter cables are slightly out...

Me holding the shifter in 5th with a little bit of force doesn't hold it in

if the cable is misadjusted, holding the shifter shouldn't help...
since I am unaware of any adjustments on the transmission, I'd first look at the shifter cable (the easy solution) after which I'd look into if it's more terminal than that...
