Agreed. But those were kinda Mercedes shitty years which is y I'm a little nervous. But knowing chrysler odds r they used an older Mercedes engine lol. They also seem to be holding their value quite well which is kinda a plus.

iirc the holding value bit is because of the powertrain.

Keep in mind that Jeep was being designed when it was "Daimler-Chrysler" ~ so it really had more to do with the Daimler side of things than the Chrysler side.

the city of edmonton has officially destroyed one of my tires for the third time this summer... fml

the only decent thing to come out of this is that the tire that blew has previously had 2 screws go thru it...

I got an easy fix for you;
QUIT GOING TO EDMONTON

EDIT:

Oh yeah ~ score one for painted over chromed rims

Will I think I caught you looking for my curb rash when you were last here ~ if you were, you looked at the wrong rim...
now it will be even harder to id the previously scuffed one

Now I know why everyone is getting ride of their lsj. You need a special saab tool to take a gear out of the transmission to completely disassemble it. Also there are no LSJ parts in canada. everything comes out of the usa and they have discontinued many of the parts for the cobalts.

It just got me thinking today when the dealer told me that they are making their own tool to remove the gear because they can not get their hands on that specialty sabb tool.

Just some food for thought for any present LSJ owners
