I heard about that crash. I was almost going to watch that race too but it was an oval so I decided not to. I dont know why open wheel cars still race on banked oval tracks. Sooo many guys have died on those retarded ovals. It's not even real racing anyways... Leave those tracks for NASCAR. IRL barely draws a crowd on the ovals anyways.

I don't know how people can go from v8 rwd to I4 fwd. That's just weird and wrong! Lol

they were hitting 222 mph. thats wayyyy faster than nascars and the nascars have a full roll cage, not open wheel. Wheldon died from hitting his head against a pillar at 200mph +

If I had a fancy tv like yours I'd say we could all meet here, but even some of my family mocks my tv...
then there's that issue I have with furnature... err, r lack there of...
I have my reasons... which are closely tied to why I still have my V8/RWD, and have been slowly collecting parts for the last decade (roughly half of which the car was still registered, insured, and occasionally driven)...

Lol see mark, I told you he'd bite! Just kidding man. I'm just more impartial to a v8 that torques the truck when I blip the throttle!!! Hehehe

Seriously, there's a reason why I have no burning desire to get rid of my Firebird... or the 2nd one
My ('70) Firebird is still the only vehicle that has the ability to genuinely scare the crap outta me...
EDIT:
BTW, I think I found Marks next Cobalt...
only problem (money crap aside) are:
- it appears to not have heated seats
- it has the "wrong" steering wheel
- it makes no mention of limited slip
Cobalt SS/SC
It might not be his old car's orange, but IIRC he likes red...
I like browsing adds a little too much.
p.s. - did you all immediately notice the spoiler?

between my posting tha add a couple minutes ago, it sold, or was pulled.
IT was a 2005 LT, in arrival blue;
just over 160,000 km's, and looking to be overly minty...
I don't see too many cobalt coupes in the sub $5k range... this was maybe number five this year.
It was totally worth it to whom ever bought it.

im debating whether i should start a hobby building things like boxes and shelves and then selling them for cash. i would do custom work too. so if you needed shelves tell me dimensions and how many shelves, and i could make them

^^^but in your case it was self-imposed....
if making the move from >200hp to <200hp could be interpreted as painful;
would that make you sadistic
I spied the SS/SC over thanksgiving weekend - but was ina rush out of town and neglected to look at it on the lot...
Question Adrian;
Didn't the Cobalt have a high-rise spoiler??
It right now has some kind of aftermarket jobber on it...
