Well it was going to go to Johns and then ZZP but lately I've been thinking I'll just do it myself.

If I did it myself I could say 6 Grand lol - install + shipment. Which means I'd have more money to play with..

I would strongly suggest rethinking how much you spend ( I spent ove 10-15k k in mods) andt the end u hit the point where u want a change. I only say this as I assume sine your debating taking it o zap I assume your looking at 5000-7000 worth of work

More like 10-15K range. I did the same with my old cars and got bored with them but I think i'm kind of stuck with the cobalt after that $4700 hit on it.
I'd rather just keep it then sell it dirt cheap. She can be a track queen.

nope.
I think it was something further up the scale than that.

Granted I don't know jack squat about standard versus optional drivetrains...

this was a two door had a rounded front end...
I didn't look back to see what the ass-end looked like either...

Pretty much all I know about late model offerings from Bayerische Motoren Werke, is that they're well above my own pay scale, and that my step dad got in ALOT of trouble with the local authorities the day he got his X6 (he made the mistake of talking to my brother, who in turn told him how you're supposed to spool up turbo engines)...

This guy REALLY gave it gas to get infront of me...
(I'd wager if I was 100% stock he might have pulled it off!)

on a different note, I decided just now to look into pricing a speed3...

considering the base MSRP is $29.7k ~ am I the only one who finds it crazy that items which you would think shouldn't be there are on the option list?
  • Cigarette lighter $58
  • cargo net $46
  • floor mats; carpet $98 / all weather $129
  • engine oil cap $79??
  • interior lighting kit $333??!
~ I have to be missing something here...

How stripped down do these cars come!?

so says the guy who's apparently harboring all the secrets

I never intended to remain 100% stock forever...
I mean i am a Trifecta dealer afterall

... I will retain stock appearance.

probably was it... but I'm not certain.

I don't want to seem to boast - or seem to talk up a small moment in time to be somethign it wasn't...
it's just that messing with a late model bimmer owner is a small feat in and of itself... especially when you're rolling in a domestic compact!

Hey Jordan;

I'm looking at getting a ticket for Foo Fighters thursday night - the guy might have a second one to spare;
assuming you're allowed to go out on a school night - would you be interested?
($60)

I'm mostly asking becasue you seem to be into some of the same music as me - and the guy sounds like he's got spare tickets he's being stuck with...

ok... gotta go to bed...

going on less than nine hours of sleep for the past two nights...
and it's starting to show...
