imho the year is the hinge point for fail on that add... I mean lets say you're a dealer - aren't newer cars worth more - and typically more desireable?
Assuming you're too inept to look at the vin, or the registration - how hard is looking at the door sticker to determin model year??
Not only is that not a 2004 - but it's also not a 2005;
becasue a 2005 Cobalt SS would mean it's an SS/SC.
Not only is that not a 2006 either...
hint: for Mark, it's a deal breaker item.
So, we have a 2007 SS/2.4L being advertised as three model years older than it actually is, and with lower KM's than it apparently has to boot!
EDIT:
If not offer will be refused - how about Mark go there and offer $50

Holy huge accident on the QE2 today near lacombe. The car in the ditch looked like the car from mythbusters when they were doing the 120mph crash test into the brick wall. Took about 45 minutes to get around it. And to make the wait even longer a semi decided to rip the front end off a car trying to change lanes for no real reason as traffic was at a dead stop.
Im hoping the fire department that was there used the jaws of life since that would probably mean the crash wasn't as bad as it looked.

but I just looked yesterday - the wear indicators aren't fully exposed yet on my winters...
EDIT: I just looked;
(they're in one of the upstairs bedrooms - what can I say, I'm a bachelor! )
Definitely running the "old winters for at least a little while...
You can really see which I had in the front though!
