At WOT, my A/F ratio was between 12.0:1 and 12.2:1.

Not to sure why you'd need to run any richer than that...

I was under the impression that anything higher than 11.4 to 11.6 wasn't safe without meth.

we dont need to, we just are.....we are untuned currently.

and yah allan is being a DB. G35 are old mens cars...he says its his dream car....your not supposed to have your dream car when your 18/19. what evs though. no point in selling his balt for a car thats gonna be more expensive, cost more in gas, RWD soo even less winterable then the balt. i donno, but if he wants it what can ya do?
they are pretty nice

not to mention they only do the 1/4mile .2 seconds faster then a stock balt. (balt 14.4, g35 coupe 14.2)

Here's a good article:

http://www.sdsefi.com/techegt.htm

For those that don't want to read the whole article:

Again, the wide band sensors have the same limitations as the narrow band- leaded race gas quickly fouls them. We have heard and read many stories now indicating that certain brands of wideband meters differ as much as 2 points AFR in readings between each other. In other words, the accuracy of some of these devices is highly questionable. Extensive testing with laboratory quality instrumentation on aircraft engines universally indicates that best power is NEVER made at AFRs richer than 12 to 1. Airflow and fuel flow rates are independently measured and each cylinder is instrumented with EGT probes.

Angry Balt down AGAIN!!!

So I'm pulling out off work and the cable that links to my clutch snaps at the exit to the firewall so now when I try to ingauge the clutch the cable just goes into the engine bay so the clutch wont inguage. Fricken cheap ass **** plastic. Not only that but roadside sends some drunk ass guy to toew my car and when we get it to Jack Carter he cranks the wheel and scrapes the crap out of my bumper so now I have to do an insurance claim for that to be fixed. I did not realise he was drinking until he comes in the service bay and all you could smell was booze.

I just don't have good luck with this car!!!!

Dam straight they will. He gouged the lower valence so I am having that replaced, NOT FIXED and the bumper cover it is just cosmetic paint transfer.

He was appologetic but once I smelled the booze I was not happy. I wont get the guy in **** but I do want it fixed weather we go through insurance or AAA reckers pays me what the cost of repair is.

What did they have to replace Rob? Is this a huge fix or just the cable mount?

cheers

Here's what my work order said... word for word...

inspect for no clutch upon inspection of clutch hrdaulic system, noted that master cylinder is not attached to firewall. Remove underhood electrical centre for access. Re-attach clutch master cylinder. *Cylinder appears to be missing part of the bayonnette system to attach it to the firewall. Part Ordered. Replace clutch master cylinder reassemble vehica road test to confirm repair. clutch ok.

Then above that it said:

Cause: c6
k0600 cylinder, actuator clutch master R&R or replace.

(Then it shows the part number that they replaced)

So yeah that's what happened to me

yea i have a buyer, my friend basically bought it, it was kinda spur of the moment. right now were delegating cause i donno if i wanna sell it anymore cuz i got alot of savings to buy the car i wanted (foxbody mustang 5.0 GT/cobra) so i may just keep the balt as a driver/reliable car and buy and mod a mustang on the side for cruisin and what not.

but its super fackin hard to find a foxbody at a good price that is in good condition. ill still be around the balt forums for a while i think.
