race city wont say anything to you about subs being in, but probably takes out 50-75 lbs pending how big your box is.

the subs will be fine as long as they are secure and will not move. they should be checking for that as well.

if they are loose, I would;
If that's the case, they will probably require you to remove them.

If they are secured in place (like our factory sub) then leave it...

Woo-hoo!!

Actually I was thinking about this last night... I haven't done jack-diddly squat on my gran-dam yet, so who know's what I'll be running...

but I will be running!

they should still hopefully still be doing tech till something like 9:30pm... assuming you're going to be like the cool crowd, and have some fun, instead of just being mosquito bait.

Hmm... July 30th.. I should still be off work due to broken ribs.. most likely I'll make it down since Jody's going lol.. maybe we'll start an Edmonton convoy or something =p
Are DOT helmets ok or are they looking for Snells now? I got to race in Mission anyways cuz I was out of town, but they require Snells there. Wouldn't want to waste time going there and back and find out I can't even race cuz of a stupid helmet rule!

the neutral saftey switch? it's so your car can't be started by just turning the key

[QUOTE=soundjunky;5079322][*]They should check for an operating clutch/neutral safety switch; for m/t cars they will ask to see you turn the ignition on w/o depressing the clutch, for auto cars they will ask to see you try to start with the car in gear (you should only be able to engage the starter in neutral or park).

is soundjunky saying they make u try and start your car without the clutch in, so that they will find out your car will not start... in which case u will be fine???

ya they do. if you try and start your car without the clutch pushed in, it does not turn over. that's the neutral safety switch I do believe

or started in gear

m/t transmissions can be started in any gear as long as the clutch is pushed in so as long as the clutch is not engaged you should not be able to start your car. automatics if the car is in reverse, driver or any other gear other then neutral or park the car should not start.
