hahaha oh man you lol. Well, you can select the channel you want and they have privacy codes (they're not really sub channels) so the radio will ignore all the communications not on the privacy channel. It'll work good.

You know, maybe we should just ignore the subchannels lmao, we have enough channels.

Please tell me you're the only one without a set? I'll have a spare, I'm bringing four of them, keeping two and lending one to Mike (the other G5 guy).

My idiot post

Everyone gets a few, im using one now.

What does saskatchewan have for tracks? (no gravel) i kno this seems totally stupid but i don't know where else to look

The other thing thats stupid is how regina can build a brand new horse racing track but we cant see to get a drag strip down here, yet the bitch about street racing so much. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer at those things.

I don't have a set, but plan to pick one up.

What brand do you suggest? How do I know if it's able to do the proper channel, sub channel?
Sorry... I'm not familiar with 2-ways.

I'd recommend the Cobra or Motorola line personally. Make sure you get ones with a dock so you can recharge them, you'll regret it otherwise.

As for the sub-channels, I think we're going to scrap them, I thought everybody had that feature now, since you can't buy a new set without them now a days. If you want to be on the cheap, you can find a cheap FRS set for like $30 or $40. But if you want to splurge, I have an $80 pair of FRS/GMRS radios, they go for about 14km on GMRS and about 3km on FRS.

This wont apply for any of us, but in the US you're suppose to have a radio license and a call sign to operate GMRS radios due to their high output.

So yeah, I think we're dropping the sub channels though.

There's also 1/8 mile tracks at Esterhazy, and Estevan/Weyburn areas.

haha good plan, from past experience I'd highly recommend getting everyones cell numbers... or atleast the numbers without radios.

Since it's a two lane highway, how tight are we going to drive? I think we should with atleast 2 car lengths between for faster traffic. Too bad it's not a four lane, we could do some serious formation driving haha... back person changes lanes with the front person and we all drive around a slow car...

I hear the esterhazy one is really good, they have some big time drag days around there. Hundreds of cars on some weekends.
The Weyburn area one, i can't say for sure.

Hey Tyler, remember the day we went go karting with Chad? When i first got to your place i said i seen an 09 CTS-V earlier? Have you seen it around since?
When i seen it, it had four suits driving around in it, and it was going the opposite way as me, so i didn't get pics. It had a window sticker on it too, but i don't know if anything was on the sticker. I'm thinking it might have been a shakedown run or something, because they're not released yet eh?
