Any 306'ers heading to the Dyno day at P+?

I'm gonna giver a pull. For those who are unaware, P+ is having a free dyno day for supporting (paying) members of 306motorclub.com. October 11th. 1 pull per member.

 

i'm down, wouldn't mind seeing what i got after my mods. What it cost if your not a member?

 

He said it's for paying members only. your best bet would be to pay pal the club the fee, i think it's less than $20

 

I might stop by just to check it out, I'm premium there, but I don't think I'll bother haha.

Don't get your hopes up. There will be a lot of cars that will not get dyno'd as there will be those with priority. I tried getting my 04 redline in there on a dyno day I was number 8 on the list and waited 2 hours... never did end up getting on the dyno. If you guys are really interested in a dyno ask rippin07 what they charge for a dyno pull. They might do something if a few of you go in together.

 

Was it a dyno day for 306motorclub? I thought Kurt was pretty good at being fair. Did you ask him why you were being bumped back?

 

Okay, Im not saying anything negative about performance plus, I think they do a good job for what they do. As Raptors said, you might not get on during the dyno day, if enough of you guys want to do a dyno day let me know and I will rustle something up for you.
For example, during the international mustang meet that was here in Saskatoon, Both our shops were open for five hours for dyno runs for the mustang club. They dynoed six or seven cars (president of the mustang club told me this) we dynoed 31 cars, raptors was there just ask him, and many of them made more than one pull, 4 or 5 in some cases. Our set up is extremely easy to use and very user friendly for strapping on vehicles. Again, if it doesnt work out then let me know and I will see what I can set up for everyone.
On a side note, we use a Dyno Jet and P+ uses a mustang, however, we have dynoed cars that have been there and according to the printouts we have seen from customers the largest difference was 6 hp on a 466hp pull. Usually it is about 2 or 3hp difference. (which in itself can be contributed to atmospheric values)

I don't remember it was quite a while ago. I don't think it was a 306 club day though just a regular dyno day or whatever. Kurt is pretty good I just think they have a new guy doing there dyno's or something as they didn't get many done on the last dyno day (the mustang day or whatever it was).

Sweet fellas! (and lady) i got the rims i got from Jordan put on my car and cleaned up. I'm going to bomb around with these as is for now, until i can find someone who wants/knows how to powdercoat. I figured these are pretty nice, i'm not going to paint them myself and chance screwing them up. And the paint would come off easier anyway... so...

Oh yeah, i got to test drive a new G8 3.6 V6 today. It was great, such a great suspension, and the tapshift auto is great, a very nice interior. I don't like the speedo on the right, and the tach on the left, and the V6 is a little underpowered for this car. The V6 also seemed to sound a bit "grainy" i would call it, i believe its normal for the 3.6 V6, but was something i don't like. A very very nice car all the way around though! (Even though it was Sport tintcoat red ) And a G8 GT would be in my future if it wasn't for the Camaro upcoming soon!
