ive seent that car but i was sure it was a SC i also saw a maroon SS cruisin around ya maroon and it had the front and rear lip low rise and the 18's i got out to look at it just to make sure and it had everything the SC does dont know where the hell he got a maroon one tho.

The guy driving the Red TC with Slipknot Decal, is now parked where a Red 2.4SS used to be. Maybe an upgrade?

Either way, the guys at Sherwood are still trying to convince me to buy a TC. They don't like the thought of me never wanting a domestic again.

I thought I saw Brock today, a guy in a red ss/sc with similarish wheels, but then I realised it was some dude who couldn't drive, we were driving parallel at the same speed and I gained a car on him everytime he shifted haha.

So i was at sherwood this week tallking to them about my clutch issue and they pretty much told me im fucked and its going to be my responsibility to fix it. Wow did i get mad instantly im not done with them yet the guy didnt look too impressed either when i said i'm just about ready to shove this car up someones ass and go and get a foreign car.

P.S. anyone know round about the tally on how much it is to get a clutch replaced? They told me like 2 grand.

 

No, they know better not to call me. But I can't go in there without a salseman asking me "hey have you test driven the new turbo cobalt yet?" I even had one guy say, "So how do you like your 2.4SS? The new Tubo cobalt is pretty impressive" I was like "Really......." and kept on walking to my Dad's office. LOL

I think the best part was, when they had one of the black ones in stock, I took it for a test drive while the guy who ended up buying it, sat there waiting for a deal to be approved on it, lol. I asked if they should be giving me the car when someone was currently trying to deal on it, and they replied "The deal hasn't been approved yet. It's not his car" So off I went.

 

If you're going by GM book time I can easily see it costing that since I seem to remember it's listed as a 9 hour job in the service manual. I think the stock clutch is over 500 bucks just parts cost. Had mine replaced under warranty and it still isn't the greatest. I Will be replacing it with a spec clutch within the year im sure.

 

.... just get an aftermarket clutch. It's going to cost the same in the end, and at least you'll have something with a good hold, that can take some abuse. Not to mention, you get a light weight flywheel with most clutch packages.

I talked to the guys at SMP and they will see what they can do for me but in the end ill probly end up buying a better clutch and they can figure the install out on warranty some how, im hoping.

Well my cylinder head showed up today! yay!

I'm around most evenings for a meet, just say the place and time.

 

I also spotted an Imperial Blue SS TC parked in an alley/parking lot behind 15th and Clarence, where an 07 LBM SS SC used to be. Looks like they upgraded too, or moved maybe. No mods, no stickers, haven't even seen it moved. Its just always parked when i go to my buddys...


On a side note: **** MANITOBA HIGHWAYS and their lazy ass excuses for workmanship! I just lost two right side tires and rims to their sorry excuse for going back to normal pavement after cutting the old stuff off! At least i still have the stock pair... **** am i pissed! I am super glad i'm not lowered! I probably wouldn't have a car right now!
So far my tally is: two rims, two tires, steering alignment, and a possibility of two struts. I wasn't able to get under the car tonight. That'll be tomorrow when i get back from Regina.


Jordan, you wouldn't happen to have the original bill of sale from your rims and tires by chance would you?
