Streetlifes cobalt put down 218whp and 188lb/ft stock w/ intake and exhaust, now, lets just say that it is more than enough, and after the final tuning I think it will pull another 10whp yet. How much does he have, well, race him and find out, I think the majority if not all of you will lose though. I have seen him pull hard on an STI already and not one of these shitty new slow ones, the good one blue w/ gold wheels. No offense but I havent seen why he gets such a bad rap?? Maybe someone can fill me in??
FYI insurance covered his new rims because he hit unmarked road construction that damaged them, he did take pictures to prove it was unmarked as well, so maybe that is what needs to be done.

Sorry... the kid is still a tool... and the STI driver obviously couldn't drive.

and because he is usually driving like a jackass. pretty much everyone i know says, "hey have you seen the yellow cobalt with the big chrome rims? he tried to race me in traffic and just about hit me" i think thats why. i think he is a decent kid, just needs to mature a little more behind the wheel

218whp? And pulled "hard" on an STi?? yeah, OK. Even with the extra 10 you say after the final tune, I still don't see him pulling "hard" on an STi, if at all.
You said stock, w/ intake, and exhaust in the same sentence.

That's why he's telling everyone that he is 'stage 5'.
What's funny is that he got pulled by a 2.8"/I/E car, then again by a bolt on (stock boost) skittle later that night too.
I agree though... I can't see him pulling on that STI, unless the race was only for 60'.

So yea, in case any of you are interested in purchasing a new Camaro, US pricing is out. Add apx 20% for our normal ass raping to the figures and there you have it!

Well, I would put money on him winning your next race Tyler, no offense, and you raced him when he wasnt tuned. ( just 60s set up, until wideband was in) The guy in the STI was a decent shifter and pulled up later to chat, cool guy and really liked the cobalt. FYI it was a full second gear and part of third gear pull with the SS pulling all the way through, happend on the highway just past moxies. HAHA, DJ, your right, never really thought of that. I meant stock pulley and tune.
Maybe it is his driving around alot and maybe he needs to be more mature, but really like none of you pulled any kind of BS driving before, some just learn slower than others. Whatever.

I'm not sure if I'm going to swap cams just yet but I've been looking into the GM racing cams since they don't seem to sacrifice a lot of driveability. I do have an extra head here that I volunteered rippin07 to do the port and polishing on for me though. I would kind of like to get a hold of another Intake manifold to play around with too.

Slight loss of torque on the low end apparently. Despite common belief, they need to be shimmed due to the base circle being smaller than stock.... which is a real bitch, cause shims seem to **** out pretty regularly... as I found with the 272's.
I'm working on a set of modified lifters that will be able to hold the shims better. I hope it work, cause digging for lost shims is a real bitch.
2-jay-z's don't count.
