I think that is only in Calgary, Mark. But I am not 100% sure.

As per the updated Castrol rules for 2009:
Passengers will be allowed - time permitting. All passenger runs must be single passes only and be 14 seconds and slower.
All vehicles will be inspected in accordance with IHRA Safety Regulations. As we race at night all vehicles must have a working headlight and taillight.
Drivers must wear at least: full length pants, shoes, a sleeved shirt. (No shorts, sandals, or tank tops).
All participants must have an approved helmet. (A minimum number of helmets are
available for rent in the drag tower for $10 per night)
Drive shaft loop mandatory on all cars running 13.99 or quicker that are running slicks. Also required on all cars running 11.49 or quicker on street tires
13. Cars running faster than 11.49 must have an approved roll bar, SFI Legal belts and
jacket.
14. Cars running faster than 10.99 must have approved aftermarket axles and balancer.
15. Cars running faster than 9.99 must have an approved roll cage and Competition License.

Hey guys, I will be at the Camrose 100 Footer on May 29 for sure and May 31 depending on May 29. I've got to help with set up because Team ACE Racing does the lights and other stuff. I'm still in for the meet just finances have been even tighter this month so I wont recieve my EI cheque till monday, is there a absolute deadline for this? What about if I opt to not race I havent read the package too closely but is there a way to still come and just not race? Any info is much appreciated.

I didnt know that... Mine only says "DOT" on the back and they've never said anything to me...

 

You can come and not race, both myself and my brother are doing the same.
But Chad, i think we'll have to edit ours. We'll probably be staying at campsite now that our accommodations were too... "hot".

 

hmmm, cars only need DOT helmets, and bikes faster than 11 sec need snell.
show me some print that says otherwise, please?
i have 3 new snell helmets, so im covered.

 

they've only checked mine twice out of 6 times i've gone

i dunno... that was what i was told when i phoned last year before i went for the first time. maybe they thought i had a bike?
